You never know with these LIFEPO4 batteries, but this one is a winner. I charged it up all the way and then used a load tester and it measured 648wh which is a hair better then its rated. I've got some of a different brand and the cells often get out of sync and they usually only test about 60-70% of their rated capacity. I love that this has bluetooth so you can check the state of charge on it from your phone. Makes me never want to buy another LIFEPO4 battery without bluetooth. Have had it a few months so far, and I use it to run my Diesel heater. Not had any problems. I plan to re-test it after a year or so to see if its still strong with its capacity. They say this battery chemistry should last 10+ years, so if I'm at 90% or better a year from now, then I'll say this battery is a solid winner. It was also very reasonably priced considering it has bluetooth. Read more

A little under 20 lbs. I have 2 Bluetooth and a regular mini. I plan on getting another mini Bluetooth. I have purchased 2 50 ah Pro's. Very satisfied. I am presently using 24 volt system, because the wires need only be 1/2 as thick AND the storage capacity doubles over 12 volt system. Another thing is ie 12 volt 100 ah is ~1,200 watts and a 900 watt microwave draws 1,300 watts, where a 24 volt system is double in power and double in storage AND the wiring costs 1/2 as much because the thickness is 1/2 that of 12 volt systems. Additional info I prefer for a Solar Charge Controller MPPT Victron Energy the reason is it sips power and is sealed which makes it marine grade (or waterproof). As for choosing some of your wiring I would use tinned wire (marine grade). The reason is the tining of the copper wire is resistant to corrosion (copper turns green and thin wire corrodes faster, medium stranded wire is best as very thick wire doesn't bend readily. Vibration, a medium thickness stranded wire again is preferred. Also if considering weight 24 volt is a bit lighter. FYI I have no solid recommendations on inverters, BUT, I would heavily recommend a inverter with low voltage cutoff not all do. The reason is if the voltage drops to zero or near zero components such as Solar Charge Controllers might lose memory (hence the type of chemistry setting could change or other variations). Seen this happen once. FYI I have a degree, Associate Engineering Design Technician with specializations. And decades of experience starting at age 13. Working at places such as Univac Defense division with certification in mil spec soldering etc. In other words tons of real world experiences with uptimes necessitating no failure. So like the use of marine grade components unless you can afford to use silver wiring or gold plated components and contacts. Read more

Was a bit unsure going with Lithium batteries, but after cranking my boat effortlessly (350 inboard engine) I wondered why I didn't go this way a long time ago. The battery management system is awesome being able to know what level your batter is it by looking at your phone. The other thing is these are back savers. I can't believe how light they are which makes it easier to install in hard to fit areas. No issues and only benefits so far. Read more

Use this for a DIY solar battery generator box. It was the perfect size and had Bluetooth capabilities which enabled me to omit a shunt from the build, since I was already cramped for space in the box. The app is quiet useful to easily find out state of charge and battery health. Price was very reasonable as well Read more
