This is an EMS device, it will always work best with a conductive gel. There are plenty on the market now with skincare ingredients. Do yourself a favor and get a fragrance free one and use it with this device! EMS devices will not work on dry skin and most serums absorb too quickly, and you lose conduction. I have deep set eyes, hereditary dark circles, bags caused by old age, and allergies that cause puffiness. After my first use there was a significant IMMEDIATE decrease in puffiness.
