So delicious and versatile!
Great product. It is so perfect for breakfast as a cereal… far superior to the regular cream of rice cereals. It only takes a few minutes to make it and you can top it however you like .Very gentle on the tummy, I believe you could make it a little thicker and use it in place of grits fir breakfast with eggs and whatever breakfast meat you like! Great “get well soon” gift
A neighbor recently got diagnosed with diverticulitis, had to go to the hospital because the flare up was so severe, and was complaining about her bland diet. She’s been a huge help to me and this was a perfect addition to the “Get Well Soon” gift basket. She loved it and said it was much creamier and finer than the usual cream of rice with a silky texture. It’s a 3 lb bag and so it should last her for a while. Follow the directions and it’ll turn out great. The texture is similar to cream of wheat. Make sure you whisk it a few times while cooking. I like adding some coconut oil, vanilla, and honey to mine. It seems like most creamed rice has some sort of additive and isn’t just straight jasmine rice. This is a staple in my pantry and is an easy way for adding carbs to your diet. Read more
