I love the Rimmel London Oh My Gloss Butter Me Up lip gloss! The texture is super smooth and buttery, and it feels really comfortable on my lips — not sticky at all. The shine is beautiful and gives a nice, glossy finish without being too overpowering. It’s perfect for everyday wear or layering over lipstick. I was pleasantly surprised with this product. I've been searching for a replacement lip gloss for my favorite Buxom gloss as it's been discontinued. This is a good substitute and it's a third of the cost. I use it for night hydration when I go to bed. I also toss one into my purse too. It's not got a ton of color but for what I use it for, it doesn't need color. Great for casual daily wear or as a nighttime lip mask. Read more

This lip balm is underwhelming. It has a faint plastic-y vanilla frosting scent that I’m not a fan of. This is coming from someone who seeks out vanilla-scented stuff and loves Summer Friday’s vanilla. The balm’s thin consistency spreads without issue. On the lips the formula doesn’t do much besides adding some shine because it’s lacking in moisturization power and occlusiveness. When I rub my lips together I can still feel patches of dry flaky skin that aren’t softening up even after half an hour of wear time. Keep in mind that my case is more extreme since I have chronically dry lips despite living in a warm and humid environment. Maybe this lip balm will suit people who never get chapped lips? Also, my lip balm came without a unit carton so the tube was dirty from rolling freely inside the Amazon box. Luckily, the cap was shrink-wrapped (to prevent tampering) so I washed the outside of the tube with soap and water before using. I would’ve preferred not having to do all that just to try out a mediocre product. Overall, not recommended. This didn’t actively dry out my lips so 2 stars seems too harsh. But rating this 2.5 stars isn’t an option so I had to settle for 3 stars instead. Read more
