Only been using this a couple weeks but I like it! It took a minute to get used to the applicator which requires a very light touch to get the fine point but I'm figuring it out. It dries quickly and lasts all day (for me). It's not sheer at all, but I think that's a good thing... My concern with liners is feathering which it doesn't do - also a good thing. Other eyeliners I've tried: Tattoo Liner by Kat Von D- works well until it doesn't and it's pricey. NYX liquid liner in matte black and it was great but requires more skill or patience than I have. You can get really detailed and creative with this which I love. Dry time was good. Only real complaint is that when I apply it before my mascara it kind of glues my eyelashes together in clumps. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised with this linter. As I get older, my eyesight is diminishing and therefore, I have a terrible time trying to put makeup on. This eyeliner goes on smooth and thin. I have absolutely no trouble using this eyeliner even if I can't see when I'm putting it on. I've had liners start to look gloppy or flake off after a few hours. By the time I take my makeup off at the end of the day, usually 10+ hours, it still looks the same as when I initially put it on. I only use it for my top lid, for me, because of my age, I think it's too much for me to use on my bottom lid but my daughter uses it on her bottom lid and it looks great. The value is exceptional. So, the felt tip pen style applicator is great. It is so much easier to get precision compared to a brush. The product itself is ok. I found it hard to get a dense line as the product you just put down tends to lift when you try to fill it in darker. It also moves around and comes off like crazy. It’s far from budge proof. I am used to wearing wet black eyeliner for going out at night, but the first time I wore this I accidentally rubbed near my eye and this streaked all over my face like it was still wet, 2 hours into our night out. My husband had to dab his napkin in water and get it off my face in the middle of a chic restaurant 🙄 I’ll probably use it for basic eye lining but I would not do cat eye with it again. It just doesn’t stay put. Longevity-wise I thought it was pretty terrible and wears off faster than expected. I want to have to do some work to get my ‘fancy night out’ eyeliner off or wake up looking like Amy Winehouse if I didn’t remove it. I don’t want it to just fade off my face. I’ve search for the perfect eye liner that wasn’t unreasonable priced and this is it! It lasts most of the day and goes on smooth. Although you need to apply a few swipes to get a solid line, it’ll hold for the most part. I will say that once it gets to the last quarter of the bottle you’ll start to see some issues with it. It’s harder to get the right amount on the brush, which the brush it self is great, one of the highlights. And if you don’t apply just right, if you use more in one area over the other, it will stick to the brush from the line you’ve already applied, leaving a bare spot but that’s an easy fix. And it’s only when you start to get low. So it’s a great product for application color and longevity. Read more
