Not a lot of reviews for this pen, so here’s mine. I could not be happier with this pen. It has held up very well to several drops directly onto concrete. The tip hasn’t collapsed or made it hard to operate. The finish is tough but is getting worn off from my surefire, which only adds character imo. Never had issues writing on RITR paper, but some random pieces of paper have been impossible to write on, probably due to a coating. Smooth action out of the box, made better with a bit of grease. No difficulty using the pen with gloves, excellent grip with or without gloves even when wet or greasy. I would recommend some non permanent loctite on the bolt screw so it doesn’t unscrew itself and get lost. Love this pen, I could see it lasting through my lifetime if it’s taken care of. Read more

There is nothing I do not like about this pen. It is just the right size and weight. It feels really nice in my hand and it does not slip in hand. There is one thing that everyone should do before using it to make the bolt work very smoothly. Remove both ends of the pen. Apply a small amount of synthetic grease or silicone grease to the threads and to the bolt and surface it slides on. Put back together and the pen will work much more smoothly which makes it easier and more fun to use. This is a very high quality pen and even though the price is not cheap it is worth the money. This pen will also look like new for a very long time. It is a heavy duty well designed pen that writes on every surface I have tried so far even damp paper and it never skips. I wish there were more colors available for refills is all. Read more

Glass breaker tip works perfectly, it's JUST small enough to fit in my front pocket without damaging my pocket. Finish wears off quickly which is fine, obviously the ink cartridge is excellent. Read more

I had used a fisher clutch space pen before this. The fisher was great and durable, so when I received this pen I was shocked that it has the clutch beat on all front beside its cartridge. Still an amazing cartridge it doesn't feel as smooth as the fisher. Hower that pro is effectively irrelevant. I had owned probably 3 clutched in the past few years and they all ended up breaking. Either just falling apart at the point where the two barrels screw into each other or the pocket clip. Pocket clips always bent and become useless on my clutch, however on this pen there is zero movement. Read more

Most pens would explode In your pocket when getting wet or too warm, this has not yet in over 2 years. I’ve only had to purchase refills. Be careful not to put the pen in your pocket upside down because the window breaker(pointed tip)will cut a hole in your pocket. It does have a clip but the clip is fastened down tightly. Good, solid pen. Only real complaint I have is that both the clip and tip started to rust after a few weeks exposure to humidity (I live in the South), so not really “all-weather”. Still, as an equipment operator I like having a glass breaker on hand at all times just in case. Edit: Also, I would suggest lubing the threads on the tip with white lithium grease or it’ll corrosion weld itself on and you’ll never be able to replace the ink cartridge. Read more
