I replaced a 20 year old standard faucet with this. I had it in my wish list for several months before I actually purchased it. I'm soo GLAD I decided to buy it! It's modern looking and has double the water flow as my old faucet. I love that!! I also love that the nozzle turn freely from sid to side. Awesome feature!! It was easy to install, once I removed the old one. (Which was a pain) It sealed perfectly without any issues, and I didn't need anything other than what was in the box. Except for... I had to purchase an adapter to replace the aerator, which I had to remove in order to attach a faucet waterpic. That was actually the hardest part of the whole replacement process. After putting in 79 of these, I have my opinions. They were very easy to install, some tenants complained because the water pressure is almost uncontrollable. For an adult that uses the faucet on a regular basis, it is fine you just learn to not pull the handle all the way out. The problem is kids don't understand this and they end up splashing water out of the sink and all over them every time. The upper arm also spins side to side so that is great if you are filling a container with water and need the facet arm out of the way for a minute, but for kids, this could allow them to spin the faucet out of the sink and turn it on. After three weeks we went back and checked them all for leaks, no issues! I was only concerned because the baskets inside the drain seem to be tarnishing too quickly and I am concerned about getting replacements as needed. Other than that, everyone loved the look and everything about them. I liked the cover plate because it was just big enough to cover the stains from the old faucets and seemed to give a good seal around it. The tool provided for install was very handy and I loved that it comes with supply lines. Another savings when you are looking at doing large quantities. We did some in brushed nickel and some in Chrome. The brushed nickel seemed to have a stronger, better quality metal than the chrome, and of course, helped to hide the water spots, but both were good overall for the price. To keep it simple, this faucet is beautiful and compliments the other black hardware I’ve been installing in my bathroom very well. The handle to turn on the water is very smooth. Somehow the water pressure does seem increased, but no water comes even close to splashing out of my sink. Installation was a breeze assuming you have current day connections beneath your sink. The only issue I had is that such a nice faucet came with such a crummy drain. When I made my purchase I noted that it was plastic and knew that although I had to have the faucet that the plastic drain with the tiny one inch plastic stopper would keep me up nights. It’s a shame that such a nice faucet comes with such a crummy drain. It should either come with a drain comparable in quality to that of the faucet or a drain shouldn’t be included at all. I reiterate. The faucet is high quality, but the drain is cheap garbage. Like me, you will never be happy with it and you should order a different one to go with this faucet. If you think you might like this faucet then buy it. You won’t like it. You will love it. If you plan on replacing your drain too then buy that separately and toss the one that comes with this faucet. If you’re not replacing your drain then no worries. I had returned another faucet due to extremely low flow. This unit is very attractive and has excellent flow. On top of that it is the easiest faucet I have ever installed. Came with a tool to screw down the faucet to the counter top that worked flawlessly. The pop up drain does not require any plumbers putty as the rubber gaskets/seals provided do an excellent job once the new drain stopper is tightened properly. Much cleaner drain assembly that will not catch a lot of debris clogging it up as there are no installed obstructions as with the traditional drain systems with the mechanical drain stopper. Received and installed for one day, but very impressed so far. Will look for more of this company’s products in the future. My apartment's bathroom faucet had developed a bad leak, so I called building management for repairs. I can't say I was too surprised when they installed a hideous, gaudy, ornate "champagne" plastic replacement, which was totally out of place in my black and white bathroom with mod/minimalist lights, toweling and curtains. Soooooooooo - I took it upon myself to find an alternative that was to my liking, and within my very limited budget. The matte black RKF single-handle swivel spout faucet fit the bill nicely! I was impressed with how solid the faucet felt. The sturdy, all-metal build was quite the contrast from the largely plastic crapola management had put in the week before. Installation was very easy, too! Initially, I didn't intend to put in the pop-up drain - thinking that would be beyond my limited skills. However, after doing a little research on line, and picking up some plumber's putty, I decided to give it a shot. I'm so glad I did. It was not that difficult, and the black drain looks so much nicer with the faucet. I love the pop-up feature, too.
