This is my second robotic vacuum I have had, but is most clearly my favorite. I love being able to come home and look at the freshly cleaned lines. The mapping feature works well and the app is very intuitive to use. My mom just got a roomba and I can say this outperforms hers in every way. The mopping works much better than the last brand I had. I have mostly LVP but some rugs on the main level I use this, and I was concerned about this getting the rugs wet, but it has smart features where it does the carpet first and then mops, making this a great option. Has excellent value. I have had no issues with battery life. Would purchase again. Read more

We have two German Shepherds, so dog hair isn’t something we occasionally deal with — it’s constant. We’ve owned four robot vacuums over the years (Roomba and Shark), and every one of them eventually did the same thing: left clumps of hair on the rugs, got confused, or ended up stuck under furniture. The Roomba we just retired was especially bad. It would run, sound busy, and still leave hair behind. On top of that, it was always getting lost or wedged somewhere it didn’t belong. The Roborock Qrevo S5V has been a completely different experience. First off, it actually knows where it’s going. It maps the house accurately and cleans in a logical pattern instead of wandering around randomly. It hasn’t gotten stuck once and doesn’t miss areas or quit halfway through a room. What really sold us, though, is how well it handles dog hair and rugs. It has no problem sensing area rugs and automatically lifts the mop heads, so it doesn’t drag wet pads across carpet. It also doesn’t get tangled up on smaller rugs or flip corners over like our previous robots did. That alone has saved a lot of frustration. The suction and brush design finally keep up with German Shepherd shedding. Our rugs and floors are noticeably cleaner, and there are no leftover hair clumps. One pass actually looks like it did something. The self-emptying dock is a huge plus with two heavy shedders, and the mopping on hard floors is better than expected — not a gimmick, just genuinely useful. Bottom line: this is the first robot vacuum we’ve owned that actually keeps up with our dogs instead of just pushing hair around. After four attempts with other brands, this one finally gets it right. Yeah it’s pricey but if you have pets, especially the kind that shed, this is your robot vacuum! I’ve had it for over 6 months and I can honestly say this is a life changing product for me. Yes it is expensive but honestly so worth it. I tell everyone about it! Snag it on sale and you’re good to go! I have a toddler and a dog, so my floors are always covered in crumbs and dog hair. I run the vacuum function a couple times a week and aim to use the mop function at least once a week or as needed. Aside from moving items out of the way when I need to do a deep clean, and ensuring the water tank is ready, it really is a set it and forget it type of thing. The app is easy to use, from making the map of your home to setting cleaning routines and checking the device maintenance. It is especially helpful after hosting parties or large groups where your floors will get dirty quickly. I clear the way for the robot and get to work cleaning the dishes while the robot vacuums and mops other areas of the house. Multitasking at its finest! I will even prep the house and set the routine before I leave the house for the day and I come home to beautifully clean floors. I will say, the mopping is most effective if you select double mopping. The first few times I only selected single mopping and found the floor was not as clean as I’d like. I used plain tap water initially but eventually bought the Roborock brand cleaning solution to add to the water tank and found it eliminates any musty odor from the mopheads (even after washing and drying) and leaves no residue on the floor. I find the vacuum power to be very effective and I’m always satisfied with how clean both rugs and hard flooring are. So far I’ve have no maintenance issues and after over 6 months of heavy use, the original dust bag is finally almost full! I bought replacement bags and mop heads from Amazon. They’re knockoffs but seem to be great quality. I’ve replaced the mop heads once so far as over time they do tend to wear down, which is to be expected. Read more
