I don’t know why anyone would give this product a negative review as long as there wasn’t a manufacturing defect. If in fact there is something that don’t seem to be working correctly contact the seller, because these stands are very nice for the price. As far as a portable stand goes you can’t ask for more. The air assist for lowering is really a bonus. Anyone who has lowered speakers and caught their fingers or had them slam down knows what i am talking about. The case isn’t the type you would see with a DJ supplier, but take a look at the price difference. If you want a better case then you’re going to pay for it. Anyone who does anything a couple of times a year these will last forever as long as you don’t abuse them. I do about 15 to 20 gigs a year, and i don’t expect these to fail me any time soon. The product works as advertised. The stands are sturdy and easy to setup. The push button locking mechanism is great. Read more
very good stands seem to be working good. the only issues one clip to bring the speaker down is sticking a little and the bag is way to small they go in and already ripped because no room to get them in and out Read more

I was surprised at just how heavy duty these stands are made. It’s refreshing to see not everyone is churning out flimsy stands. If you need some nice speaker stands, these are the ones for you! Read more
Very sturdy stands. I love the locking mechanism instead of pins. My reason for giving it only 3 stars is because the bag didn't hold up at all. After one month of use the hydraulic lowering completely stopped working. Still a usable well priced product. Read more
I have gone through many of different speaker stands as a mobile DJ over the years. I just got these in the mail today. I can already tell that these should outlast the others. I say this because other speaker stands have only plastic where the three legs join, this one is made of metal There is no need to ratached down hard on the pole to set the stands, I would advise against it so it doesn't leave an impression on your pole. Now for the pole you place your speaker on. This is great! The safety latch automatically engages, No need for sloppy or cumbersome safety pins/bars for this stand. It automatically engages the safety and then you tighten it and you are set. While the Air assist is a nice feature, I am not a little guy so the weight of letting down a speaker is no big deal to me, but it is a nice feature. It works like a dream slowly lowering your speaker down. These Stands are worth the 56.99 frankly and it comes with a free carrying case which is built quite well, it has two sets of straps in the carrying case to secure the top of the stand and the base, with a nylon divider in between the two sections to keep your stands looking Sharp and new like you just bought them for every event. Something I know other speaker stand bags just do not have. I will be buying 10 more sets of these to keep in the warehouse and issue them out to our DJ's for light - medium weight speakers. **** Speaker weight for these is only 80lbs***** not 100lbs btw Read more
