I want to share some of my opinions. 1, The black hair guider rod really helps a lot to feed in hair more easily and quickly. Though it gives the curling iron a slight bulky look, when you consider its functional advantages, this small flaw is completely forgiveable. 2, The second important function of the hair guider rod is that it allows you to curl the hair at the back of your head yourself. This is unmatched by other similar automatic curling iron, or rather, this curler makes it much easier to achieve. 3. This curling iron is more suitable for medium to long hair. I have never been good at curling my hair, but with this curling iron I am finally having better results. It takes the hassle out of wrapping the hair around the barrel and times how long you need to leave your hair in. The automatic rotation makes easy to get even curls without having to get confused on which way your curls need to go. They also give you a ton of different hair clips! The shield design is really what makes the iron great for me. I can’t tell you how many times I have burnt my neck or fingers but this design eliminates that problem. It heats up super fast, works great on my mediumish length hair, and the curls hold with hair spray all day even with my super fine straight hair. One thing to note is that if your hair is shorter this is going to be harder to use, especially in the back. I also noticed that while heating up and on it does smell a lot like plastic, hoping that wears off after use.
