Comfortable, Versatile, and Looks Good

CWJanuary 31, 2026

I’m really happy with these shorts. They’re lightweight linen and feel like an easy pick for summer. They soft, breathable, and nice-looking. The fabric doesn’t have that cheap, shiny, “fake linen” vibe some budget pairs have. These look and feel higher quality than I expected. Fit is one of the best parts. On me, they’re more tailored/snug through the waist and upper hip, but looser through the legs, so they’re comfortable and flattering at the same time. They also run on the longer side, which works well for a relaxed vacation look. What makes them stand out is how easy they are to style: Great for beach/lounging, but also clean enough to wear to dinner. The color pairs really well with typical linen tones like white, khaki, and other neutrals (I’ve already tried them with several linen shirts and they looked great). The drawstring is sturdy (doesn’t look flimsy), and the beaded detailing adds a little personality without being too loud. It is a nice touch that makes them feel less “basic.” If you prefer shorter or more fitted shorts, these might not be your ideal style, but since they’re longer, you can roll them up or even tailor them if you want a shorter cut. Just Okay

aRealPersonFebruary 21, 2026

I recently picked up a pair of these casual linen shorts for the summer, and honestly, they are just okay. On the positive side, they are definitely lightweight, breathable, and quite comfortable to wear. The elastic waistband and general cut fit me well enough, making them decent for just lounging around the house on a hot day. However, there are a couple of glaring issues that hold them back. First and foremost, the linen blend fabric is extremely see-through. You have to be very careful about what you wear underneath them, which kind of defeats the purpose of an easy, throw-on pair of casual beach shorts. Secondly, the design of the drawstring is really strange. For some reason, the manufacturer added these bulky, heavy beads to the ends of the strings. They weigh down the front of the shorts and feel totally unnecessary on an otherwise lightweight garment. I will probably try to cut or remove the beads myself because they are just annoying. Overall, they get the job done if you just need a cheap, highly breathable pair of shorts for your own backyard. But given the sheer fabric and the weird drawstring weights, you would probably be much happier on a better alternative. Read more

Nice casual shorts

Lars NessFebruary 8, 2026

I like the look and design of these shorts. They are lightweight something that I believe should be mandatory for all shorts. The stretch waist is comfortable and easily tightened with the drawstrings. Adding to the summer beach vibe on these are cool tiki style beads tin the drawstrings. They have front pockets for phone and keys. These are very nice casual summer shorts. Read more

Easy to match with and pretty comfort

William KJanuary 11, 2026

These are some of the better looking shorts that I own. I like the color, the fabric, and the design. There are two dark brown beads at the end of the drawstring that add a little bit to the color scheme and the overall look by giving it accents. As far as comfort, these are really soft, lightweight, and fit pretty well with plenty of breathing room. So I've worn them quite a bit since I got these. At the current price these are easy to recommend because of the comfort and especially the style. They go with almost anything except for bright colors. A lot of times these are my go-to shorts if I just need to get out of the house for a little bit and pick up groceries or whatever. Read more

Great fitting and looking linen blend shorts, though pockets may not hold up well.

Better Not Say!January 5, 2026

I like these shorts. FYI, they are not 100% linen, which shouldn't be a surprise at the price. I would change the title to "linen blend", especially since they are just 20% linen. Synthetic (petroleum-based) materials like Rayon make up the other 80%. Still, the texture of the fabric looks a lot like linen, and it is slightly wrinkled like linen, as well. The large shorts are true to size, and they fit really well. They're also comfortable. The length is spot on. They hang right at my knees. Shorts that are too long tend to get caught and try to pull themselves down when I kneel or bend at the knees. Short shorts are a non-starter. The waistband tie is substantial, and the wooden pulls add a nice touch. One downside is the fabric used for the pockets, waistband, etc. looks unfinished. The material edges look sloppy and untrimmed. Also, the lightweight fabric used for the pockets may not last very long. The rating reflects my concerns with durability and finish, but I think these shorts are worth a look, nonetheless. Read more

Comfortable fabric

BGoodJanuary 7, 2026

They're great running shorts. They have two front pockets and a back pocket. The beads on the rope ties will keep the rope from disappearing during laundry day. They feel like wood beads to the touch, but seem likely plastic. The sizing seems accurate. On me an XL is tight and a 2XL is loose. These are tight as I expected them to be. That said, because the waist has good stretch to it and the rope to tighten further, if you're in the same boat as I am then 2XL is probably the better way to go. If you don't recognize the material, I didn't either and had to look it up. Basically it's a wood based material used in place of cottons and combined with linen and rayon. Functionally, I would have guess it was a cotton/linen blend since I didn't know otherwise. So, that may be all that matters. Read more

Nice style but runs small and fabric is very thin

ReneeJanuary 16, 2026

Overall, these men’s linen shorts are decent, but the sizing definitely runs small. We ordered an XL for our son (he’s 6'2", 220 lbs and normally wears XL in all pants and shorts), and they were very tight on him. However, my husband wears a medium and these fit him perfectly, which confirms the sizing inconsistency. The drawstrings are a nice touch especially the beads on them, which make the shorts stand out and look stylish. That said, the material is extremely thin. Unfortunately, a hole already developed just from walking around the house, which raises concerns about durability. If you size up and are careful with wear they might work, but keep in mind the thin fabric and smaller-than-expected fit. Read more
