Design is definitely printed, but seems to be done well. It's a super soft rug (mat?) and a great size. We are using it in our living room; we have another washable rug that we are just going to alternate between. This came folded, so there were some crease lines as you can see in the photo. We've had this mat (rug?) out for about 2-3 weeks now, and those lines are definitely gone. This has also done a great job staying in place in that time, even with our dogs having some crazy zoomies on this. The design and feel has kept up with a lot of traffic, and has done very well with being vacuumed. It is pretty thin, some of our other washable rugs are much thicker/heavier duty than this, but they were also more money. So at this point, I would say this is an excellent choice for a mat/rug thing. The paper it comes with states that it is suitable for outdoor use, annndd... Well I'd be skeptical about that personally if you're looking for an outdoor rug. The sheet also doesn't say anything about washing it in the washer (whereas the product description does mention that it is machine washable.) It just mentions spot cleaning, and of course vacuuming. This is marketed as a hard floor protector for your desk chair. I guess it's probably really good for that, but I'm using it as a low-profile area rug. I have several places in my house where the hardware floors come up to low-threshold inward-opening doors. Regular thickness rugs with rug pads are too thick to put in front of the doors. This rug (and I have others very similar to it... they seem to be made in the same factories) lies flat, has just enough weight, and is thin like it needs to be, but feels durable... so far no visible breakdown at all, in a high traffic area. We like the pattern on it even. At the current price, it's a really good buy if you want an intentionally thin area rug. Read more

I was a little confused when I received this because the title states that it’s a chair mat however the rug I received is quite large. In any event, it’s very nice. The face is very soft, not a pile type rug, more like a Rugable rug that you can wash. Nice quality, great to protect my woods floors from cat & furniture scratches. Easy to store/roll. Slip resistant bottom is ideal for active households. A very functional, practical option. Color is nice and vibrant. It unrolled with no problems. The creases lay flat almost immediately. It is very heavy and durable. The size is perfect and will fit in lots of spaces. I was really impressed by the deep colors. The mat holds up to daily use and foot traffic very well. This is a very nice floor mat/rug. It has non slip backing on it and will stay in place easily. Phallus Chair Mat for Hard Floors I purchased the Phallus Chair Mat for hard floors for $30.12 which seems to be an okay price for the size and quality. The mat measures 60 inches by 75 inches and is intended to protect hardwood floors from scratches caused by a rolling desk chair. I ordered it for my father’s office as we’ve noticed his chair has started to leave small marks on the floor finish. The design appears to be printed with a basic design but it does cover the intended area and provides a functional protective layer for the flooring. It definitely lays flat and 100% on rollability! The mat is fine for everyday use but for the price there are other chair mats or rugs available that offer more refined designs. Overall, while it’s not a luxury mat, it serves its purpose of protecting the hardwood floors which was the main goal. Love this mat. It's perfect. You can use it on the hardwood floor under the office chair, which rolls easily on it, or just as a great throw rug - it's really soft, but very durable. It's a great size, and great not just in the office, but anywhere in the house. It's washable, and looks like it will last for a while, and, you can wash it! The perfect rug for a great price. The media could not be loaded. Nice big versatile rug. Not just good for a chair mat on hardwood floors. It’s good for entrance areas because it’s non slip backing. It’s made well. It was actually too big for our office so it will be used in the basement over the marble floors for the grandkids to play on.
