I know more than most about computers, but even so, it took hours to get this monitor correctly hooked up to my Dell XPS laptop using a WAVLINK docking station. It gave me an image, but first it was a narrow band stretched out between two large black bars top and bottom. Then it was all correct across the screen, but lower resolution. I asked a LOT of questions to AI search engines and sometimes received conflicting suggestions, but eventually got it all worked out. Total time: Nearly 5 hours, which included many reboots. But, in the end, the 5120x1440 43" screen looks and works BEAUTIFULLY. Just be prepared as you *may* have to do some troubleshooting to get it working right. My Dell laptop is 3 years old. I would expect less hassle with a newer computer ... Read more
Works as advertised. I’m pleased with the screen. Would buy again!! Read more
Love this monitor. I bought this to replace a similar one. It has the two inputs so I can split the screen between my home machine (Right) and extending my work laptop (Left). Read more
I love this monitor. it is more than just a big monitor with great resolution. It also serves as a docking station. I have 1 USB-C cable that goes to my surface pro and everything else (keyboard, mouse, etc) plugs into the monitor. The stand is rock solid and I can adjust it up/down and turn it so it fits on my desk just the way I want it. With windows, it is easy to divide the screen up with 1-4 windows of differing shapes based on what I am doing. I certainly like it much more than having two monitors. The sound is much better than my surface pro speakers. The only downside is you definitely should keep the box if you plan on moving. The curved shape makes it very hard to pack up and move it with a bunch of boxes without breaking it. I’ve moved twice since I bought it (using the original box) and it has survived without any problems. Overall, one of the best purchases I have made in a while. Read more
The monitor is fantastic! I love the curved display, which makes it easy to see the entire screen and immerses you in the viewing experience as the screen wraps around your field of view. Read more
Having used the monitor now for a couple of months, I must say that I'm not impressed for the marketing. I bought this monitor to replace my dual 4k setup and to de-clutter my desk. In theory I was getting rid of my dock, cabling for one monitor and replace it all with a single USB-C from the monitor to the laptop. The good: Great display, crisp QHD if it works (more about that in the bad). USB-C powers my laptop and USB keyboard / mouse are passed through to whatever device is connected to the USB-C. The bad: As a docking station replacement, this is an utter failure. QHD only works when connected through HDMI (Samsung support confirmed this limitation). Additionally, the USB-C passthrough of attached devices only works when there's no HDMI attached. the issue I have is that my laptop only has (2) USB-C's and I now am back to a cabling mess :/ Bottom line is that the marketing ambition has severely exceeded the capability of this monitor when all I wanted was to have an easy plugging in of my work PC to my home office... I opted for the business edition over the gamer edition of this monitor to gain access to the eye strain saving features and to be able to plug all my USB accessors (camera, microphone, etc.) into the monitor have just a single USB-C cable to my laptop. While those features are great, I'm not sure they are worth the extra $200. It's a great size and coupled with a tiling window manager (there are many, I like Slate and Amethyst) to manage all that screen real estate, this monitor has been a measurable productivity booster for me. Bought this for my wife to use while teleworking, and I’m pretty sure I accidentally launched her into orbit. This thing is amazing. She loves it. Meetings are smoother, focus is locked in, and every time she uses it, I half-expect NASA to call. Her home office now feels less like “working from home” and more like “commanding a spaceship.” Serious work gets done, distractions are sucked into a black hole, and morale is at warp speed. 10/10 — would absolutely recommend if you want your spouse to feel like a highly trained professional astronaut instead of just someone answering emails from the house. 🚀 Read more
