I had the watch for almost a year now and it has helped me a lot. I'm not sure how durable it can be because it's precious to me like a phone so I do take good care of it. I will say I did accidentally took a shower wearing it for a minute and took it off right away and it still works normal. I only use it to help tell time, as a timer, message family, and contact family while I am driving if I do not have a ear piece available. Charging the watch is easy and it does come with the magnet watch charger. It takes about at least an hour or so to be fully charged. It will last 1 and a half day depending how often you use it. I put mine on battery saver so it will last me almost two full day. I like to wear it while I sleep to keep track of my sleeping hours so I would charge during dinner time. It does have other features that comes with the watch, but I hardly or don't use them. There are some app that won't work for the watch and only on phone. It's great to keep track of your steps, heart rate, and stress level. You can control the media sound if your watching your phone or listening to music on your phone. I can also use the watch to locate my phone and use the phone to locate my watch by connecting them together which you will have to set it up. It is a little bulky for me since I have small wrist. This only connects through Bluetooth. It's not the type of watch where you can leave your phone at home and use your watch only (LTE). Overall I like the watch and it does what it needs to. Read more

I've owned a few Android compatible smart watches in the past (Huawei Watch and Galaxy Watch Active 2) and have played around with several others and I can confidently say this is by a mile the best smart watch ever available to Android users. The new OS is really beautiful (why did it take so long to finally get here?), the performance with the new processor is incredibly snappy (I've yet to experience any lag), the aesthetic is perfect for my taste (Galaxy Watch 4 Classic), and the rotating bezel is so satisfying to use (the build quality is super premium). The selection of health sensors is really impressive and so far seem to work well, and now Google Maps, Google Pay, and Android Messages are available via the Play Store. If you are at all interested in owning a smart watch and are an Android user please don't waste your time with any other smart watch. At least at the time of writing this review the Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic are the only reasonable choice. I've used various Apple Watches and was always openly envious of iPhone users for having such a great smart watch platform. In my opinion this watch matches up with the Apple Watch Series 6 extremely well. Thank you Samsung and Google for FINALLY putting out a smartwatch that is worth the money. Read more

I switched from a Fitbit to the Samsung Watch after my Fitbit simply kept having connectivity issues. I really liked it and had a few of them over the years. But I will say the Samsung Watch is much nicer overall, except for the battery life. I knew the battery life was a known issue prior to buying it however, but I always put my watches on the charger when showering. So it hasn't been a huge problem, but I only get maybe around 25-26hrs in total before it shuts off. As far as the functionality, it does pretty much as you would expect from a mainstream smart watch. Tons of apps, tracking, push notifications, watch faces, etc. You can also easily make custom faces using any photos, and adjust the type of data the face displays. The dial also spins and allows you to scroll through varies menu's. Tapping, swiping and the side buttons also give some extra ways to interact with it. And as mentioned it supports push notifications, so like most watches all you have to do it flip your wrist up to see message, answer phone calls etc. It even has full texting capability with it's tiny keyboard. Although... that's not something you are probably going to use a lot. Charging wise it charges pretty quickly, so that at least helps balance out the battery issue. I have been pretty happy with it overall. Read more

After six months of daily use, I can confidently say that the Galaxy Watch has not only revolutionized my fitness regimen but also significantly enhanced my daily digital experience. For me, the Galaxy Watch emerged as a game-changer, offering extensive features and seamless integration with Strava and my Samsung smartphone. I love the health features such as heart and sleep monitoring that help my track and improve my personal health. Beyond just health tracking, the Galaxy Watch proves itself an invaluable asset for fitness enthusiasts. For a cyclist like myself, the fusion of GPS and heart rate tracking revolutionizes how I measure my performance. The watch diligently logs the route and intensity of my rides, syncing data flawlessly with my Strava account and providing invaluable insights into my progress over time. But where the Samsung Galaxy Watch truly excels is in its synergistic integration with my Samsung smartphone. This is a great watch. After my s3 went out I got the s4 and it didn't miss a beat. Only wish the battery power lasted longer. In all a great watch. Read more

Just imagine yourself being at work and you need to deal with stupid situations. This thing will literally tell you when something is stressing you out, even before you yourself become aware of it. It will tell you when to get up and move, it will tell you when to drink, and it will even tell you when and how to sleep. I've had the galaxy watch classic 2 before this one and the only reason I switched is because the newer phones didn't connect to it. But dammnnnnnnn... I am not going back. The straps that come with it are a bit stupid, but I just swapped out my old straps and also ordered some leather ones and a clasping metal one, so I have the right look and style for every occasion.
