I LOVE escali primo scales. They use AA batteries instead of some hard to source CR2032 coin battery or some nonsense. They have a long 4 min shut off time or something like that. No walking away to get another ingredient and find that your tared and measured weight is now gone because your stupid scale turned off. Sensitive, accurate, compact, easy enough to clean. It's basically a perfect scale. 11 lb max weight was it's only shortcoming even though it'll do for 95% of my kitchen's jobs. So i thought, "Why not get another escali scale that'll weigh heavier loads?" Nice try. FAIL! This thing is TRASH. We weigh 7lb 2oz dough balls to shove in our divider and double check our resulting portions to 7.5-7.8oz. Sensitivity was non existent. You could add a couple ounces and it wont register. Consistency varies between where on the scale surface you place the product. On top of that, the scale won't register the same weight for the same item every time. This scale is so inconsistent, it's literally useless. I reweighed "7lb 2oz" balls on my Escali Primo and they were off by upwards of a whole pound. This thing is a joke. DO NOT BUY. Read more

I had this same scale, different label on it, and it has served us well for .1 oz measuring of fabric. That original died after about 1.5 years (which is reasonable). I hope this one (which was twice the cost) does at least as well. Read more

While the scale is a good scale, it starts to act up after a few months, which is frustrating...even with new batteries AND it has these rubber feet that stick to the bottom...and fall off easily. The scale doesn't work accurately without the feet. AND 'cause the product is sold by amazon and shipped by amazon the manufacturer won't send replacement feet and amazon tells you "return window is closed". The end. SO...I'd buy somehting like this straight from the manufacturer instead. Read more

This scale is not sensitive to less than 5 grams adding from any weight amount. If I add 2 or 3 grams to any weights, not working correctly. Read more
