I have yet to tear or rip one of these gloves, despite a lot of aggressive use. Eventually, I throw a pair away when there is lots of paint or caulking all over them. Gloves are long enough to keep out dirt. UPDATE: These gloves are compostable, which I love, but I learned the hard way that they need to be stored in an airtight container to avoid starting to break down. The top gloves that were exposed to air during a few months of storage all split apart just trying to put them on. If I dig down in the box, the gloves that were not exposed to air are still incredibly durable. I will buy again, but will protect them better in storage. Read more

Used to pay 3x the money for "chemical gloves" but these survive quite well in the grease and solvents I work with every day. My average repair job takes a couple hours, and these do just fine.
