And recently been wanting to try matcha at home and came across this brand Saw the claims about being single ingredient and 100% natural and also all the really great outstanding reviews so I was excited to give it a go. It’s very easy to make and it seems very high-quality just as if you’d be getting it from an authentic shop the taste is on point as if something you would get a nice coffee shop. Definitely recommend getting it if you would like to start making it at home. Read more

I have ordered matcha products when I have gone places, but have never attempted anything matcha at home, so I was happy to give this one a try. I see that that particular type of matcha is supposed to be good to bake with, but I have not actually tried that yet. I have made drinks with this by just adding it to hot water or steamed milk. Both of these were great. I have also added some directly to my coffee with a little milk and I really enjoy that as well. I have also enjoyed it in several blended drinks. It seems to be a nice way to keep me from drinking too much coffee if I make myself a cup of matcha in the morning as well. The bag does have a QR code on it that brings you to the company website where you can find a few recipes. I had to search for them a bit, but there weren't too many on there. I did find some other ideas online. I was a bit unsure how much I needed to add to my drinks though. Many recipes call for a tablespoon, but the bag says a serving size is 1/2 tsp. I imagine this is something you adjust to your preferred taste. I found that most drinks are great with about 1 tsp, but I sometimes add more or less depending on what else I am adding to it. I found a scoop from another product that I keep with this now to make my life easier. I don't have any special matcha whisk or anything like that, so I have been using a handheld frother to mix it up, which has worked very well. I thought the price seemed pretty high, but you actually get a lot in this bag, especially if you are only using 1 tsp (or less) per serving. The bag contains nutrition facts, ingredients (only matcha), best by date, manufacturing information and the QR code to link to the company website. The bag is also resealable, which is nice for keeping it fresh. One thing I learned about that bag, however, is that you should not try to squeeze a bit of air out as you close it because a big puff of matcha may fly into the air and make a massive mess all around you. Just a little bonus tip for you. I have really enjoyed having some matcha in the house to make my own matcha drinks at home. I may try to get more creative and make some dessert in the future as well. I like the taste of this tea and it seems to be a pretty versatile ingredient. The quality and freshness seem to be great as well. I am glad I gave this one a try and I will definitely consider purchasing it again in the future. Read more

I was a little worried about this matcha because of the price, but I soon discovered that I only needed to use a small amount (half a teaspoon) to make a good iced matcha latte.I tested it with soy and almond milk, and it worked well. It was easy to prepare, and it generated a good amount of foam with very little effort. I would not recommend using it for baking, though. I tried it in sweet bread, cakes, icing and added to sugar cookie dough. It needed a lot more than half a teaspoon in order to get that green look and matcha flavor-- making it not worth the expense. The longer it baked, the more bitter the flavor. Read more

This is a really good quality matcha. It works well in matcha lattes as well as homemade matcha ice cream. I haven't tried baking with it though. I don't like most matchas, but I liked this one. Read more

This “Two Leaves and a Bud Chef’s Matcha Green Tea, 100% Japanese Culinary Matcha powder, Iced or Hot Lattes, Use in Baking, Smoothies, Ice Cream and More |1 Resealable Bag, 12 oz” is pretty good quality, and tasted like matcha that I had in Japan after an omakase dinner. I liked the flavor and the texture. With a matcha whisk, you can easily get these dissolved in a little bit of hot water and then you can make various different beverages. I just added more hot water for a post dinner hot matcha tea; or I added steamed milk to make a tasty matcha latte. Both of these can be made hot or cold. I also think I can cook or make desserts with this, yet I haven’t tried so yet. All in all, this is a good product, the only thing, it is quite pricey at $35 for 12oz of powder; even though 12oz goes a long way. Thank you for reading this review, I hope that this review & the pictures are helpful to you in support of your purchase decision. Read more

This matcha was very fresh! The color green was bright and vibrant! It tastes very good, I like to add mine to a smoothie, but it can be drank hot or iced, it taste great any style. It is unsweetened so you can make it as sweet as you like or just drink as is. It is gluten free, and vegan. There are 225 servings per package. The only ingredients are matcha tea, which is wonderful! I am very pleased with the look, packaging and taste. Read more

This is a great matcha powder. It has strong matcha flavor and is super fine and easy to mix into solution. We've made a matcha panna cotta, matcha mochi and many matcha lattes, and haven't put a dent in the bag. With matcha, you never really use a lot so a bag this size would last you a long time. I like that it's resealable, as it keeps the matcha fresh. I would definitely recommend this for anyone that enjoys the flavor of matcha and wants to experiment with different recipes. Read more

I can not accurately review this matcha tea because it came opened with a 1 inch hole in the bag. The product did smell nice. The packaging states 100% Japanese matcha. Read more
