I'm very busty with a relatively smaller waist so overbust corsets don't always work well for me. This underbust style suits me perfectly and went well with my outfit. It helped me to craft my more modest look while still being on theme. The corset is well made and easy and comfortable to wear. It provides structure without being too restrictive. Love this corset piece! It's for sure a casual clothing piece rather than a fully-boned corset, but for the price and what it is, it does great. It's nicely made and finished - light-weight without feeling flimsy or cheap. The back is very short, top to bottom - so, less control, but more comfort, and allows it to show off more of whatever cute dress you're wearing underneath. It sits nicely and pulls the waist in a little, and feels like it would be very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. A friend recommend this brand to me, and it surpasses expectations. Very good fit, very comfortable, and it looks incredible. The ribbon in the back it a little difficult because they’re looped, but as long as I have someone else do it up for me, it’s good. I love this corset for costume or daily wear. It’s not historically accurate, it’s comfortable. The short back makes this very comfortable to move around in. You won’t get any breast support, but the corset is very flattering and easy to tighten. I ordered four different types of corsets and this is the one I wear. Read more
I ordered the color "wine red" to go over a dress I have which is also in wine red. If you ask me the corset is just plain red lol I was a little disappointed by how far off the color match is. I might return and get black instead. I will say though, this is a beautiful corset and I'm tempted to keep it just to have it because it really is nice. I'm 5'6" on a good day, 131lbs, and have a pear shape frame (31-25-37). I wear XS/S in tops, S/M and 6/8 in bottoms, and I don't have a consistent dress size due to my shape, but 4 is the median. This particular dress is an XS from Target that is extremely frumpy up top due to my frame and lack of chest, but otherwise fits well. I got this corset belt in the smallest size (6) thinking it would be a bit large due to the size guide, but it fits perfectly, and cinches in my dress to give it structure and make it actually wearable. I think this is a must for me now, and so went ahead and bought another style. It feels sturdy and not stretchy, but is very easy to put on. I got this on sale for 14.99, so it was an extremely good value, and still would be at its original price considering I had a few otherwise unwearable dresses that I can now wear out. Read more
