Very cute waist cincher, that really brought my outfit together. Obviously it is not a "real" corset but still good quality as a costume piece. I have another one of these from Scarlett Darkness, but a different shape. I went by my personal measurements so I bought the size 12. It is a bit lose, but worked great as I usually have 2 layers under (a chemise and over skirt or chemise and overdress) so that little bit of wiggle room was just right when you pulled the ties to cinch it in. I may have been fine with a size down because of the shape of it, I feel like my other one looks better on my body type than this one did. Still looked cute on and I made it work. This is so pretty! Fabric quality is great it doesn’t look cheap at all. Zipper seems sturdy and doesn’t feel like it’s gonna break. I did have to have my husband help me zip it up so I wouldn’t say it’s the easiest to put on by yourself. Technically you could unlace it and then lace it back up to put it on if you’re alone but it would just be more work. Fit is true to size! Buy your dress size and you should be fine. I just tried it on, haven’t worn it out yet (I got it for Ren Faire). Will update if it becomes super uncomfortable or breaks or something but it seems durable! This corset is gorgeous, well made, and exactly what I was looking for, but it is child size. I'm 5ft 140lbs, and the Size 10 barely went halfway around me no matter how much I sucked in (and I hold my weight in my butt/thighs, not middle). So I had a 10 yo neighbor give it a try - perfect fit. While she's too young for it, luckily I have a friend that's a stick and will love it!
