I have a 39in waist and 46in hips. I probably could have sized down and been fine. I got a size 16 and it can’t go any tighter so the cinch isn’t as snatched as I might love it to be, but it fits perfect, not too loose. I bought 2 colors of this item, both are very cute and feel well made however the dark brown fits a bit tighter than the khaki color even though they’re the same size. I’d recommend sizing up 1 size on the if you’re close to the max sizing. Better for it to be loose and need adjusting smaller. I like that they’re a back zip so it’s easy to adjust then just zip on and off afterwards, no adjusting every time. Read more

This underbust corset is perfect for Renaissance fairs or any time you want to look romantic and feel pretty. I wouldn’t call the corset a *real* corset like the kind up find at Orchard Corsets, but it will hold in your belly and definitely completes your outfit! It has a zipper in the back so you can easily put it on, and the ribbon on the front is very long so you can expand it to be big enough to fit. I am a size 16 curvy gal and I’d say the size 16 fits accurately. I love the light green color/pattern I got, but it was definitely difficult to pick bc all of them were so pretty. This waist cincher is a good buy for its price. I did go by my measurements for size, so I purchased a large. It was a bit lose, however with all the layers I am wearing (high waisted thermal tights, chemise/underdress and circle skirt) it ended up being the perfect size. I appreciate the zipper in the back. You adjust the lacing to fit your outfit and then just on and off with the zipper from then on. Way more easy than lacing the back of a real corset... Absolutely beautiful in person! Glad I got the right size after reading the reviews I decided to go against the Ai recommended size. The item I received was true to size.
