I would write long, embarrassing sonnets to this shirt. Seriously. I could sit out in a field with a quill and ink and parchment and write whole sonnets about how beautiful, flattering, comfortable, and well made this shirt is. It's not quite a bodice ripping beauty, but close enough. I've worn it with jeans, a skirt, and dress pants. I've worn it with and without a corset. It doesn't itch. There's just enough stretch so it's not suffocating. And it's pretty true to size. Check the brand sizing and not Amazon sizing. These clothes are so affordable but still well made enough to get a few second glances and compliments. They aren't cheap or costumey at all. This is a cute shirt. Not too tight. Not too costume-y feeling, but still has that fairytale vibe to it! Only thing that makes it tricky is that it goes up on the sides, so if you’re wearing leggings/pants your side section of your torso will be showing, unless you really have super high rise bottoms or a skirt. Scarlet Darkness consistently makes a great variety of clothing and accessories for ren faire, cosplay, or even just everyday wear. This shirt feels good, the material is soft and comfortable and easy to clean. It mixes and matches well with other items. If you have a bit of a belly (like me) this style may feel like it's riding up, so consider adding a corset, wide belt, high-waisted skirt or pants or something to help hold it in place. I love the fact that you can wear the shoulders up, or make it an off-shoulder top. Great variety of colors.
