Great hard drive need to Partition
Great hard drive lots of storage. You need to partition in order for your system to recognize it. If not partition your system will not see it. Lots of size and very heavy hope it lasts a long time. Read more

I purchased 4 pf these 6TB drives to use in a Raid 5 NAS. They worked well but after one week one drive's SMART system reported a drive failure. I contacted the seller, and they exchanged the drive for a new one which has been working well for a month now. I get about 117 MBps write speed over an ethernet connected NAS controller (max theoretical is 125 MBps so these drives are fine for a NAS use). When tested from within the NAS I was getting over 200 MB/s sequential read speed from each drive. Read more
