I have what I would call a small collection of Moka pots - and always take one with me when traveling. I was hesitant to try one that wasn't an actual Bialetti after being disappointed a few times with others - BUT this little pot is a pleasant surprise! The handle is nice (which is what their 'selling point' is - it is larger and I see where it could be easier for some folks to handle. For me - the things that make this a good Moka pot -- the seal is good when you screw the top and bottom and together (no sputtering or leaking). As teh coffee comes up through the top, it slides nicely down the sides (again, no sputtering or bubbling). And the then the thing that is make or break - the pour. This pot pours liek a dream. No drips or dribbles down the spout. It gives a nice clean pour. Read more

But despite them claiming it will work on a gas stove, it works best when you use a heat diffuser plate with a gas stove as it allows it to heat evenly and in a more controlled fashion. It definitely makes excellent coffee when used properly. The different available colors is also a nice touch instead of just a bare aluminum moka pot. Read more
