Receiving the item I can say that the faja is a good quality and nothing was misleading. While trying it on it was difficult to zip up , had to try to push the two fabric together in order to zip it up(note a bit stretchy, not that elastic). After the first use , it was easier to get it on , no problem with zipper and stayed up .Therefore, if you are questioning sizing I say if you are okay with the Fit being snatched and tight then size down (maybe if your in between sizes) but if not than purchase the size you usually wear. So far I like this faja and i do notice the help with keeping my posture upright. I’m around 5’5/5’4 and my weights fluctuates from 149-155, hips about 38” and waist 31in and usually my clothing in S/M. SHAPSHE Waist Trainer is truly as advertised. I love the color, fabric material, and design of the product. I originally bought this item for Myself to help correct my posture, my hips, and my stomach. However, because I ordered a size to small. I ended up gifting this high end product to my niece who has officially been given permission to finally be able to wear one. I tried it on one time. So it was still new and in it's original packaging. My niece had the same excitement and reaction that I had upon receiving it as a gift. It was an item on her Christmas list and I didn't know it. But I am glad I at least something she was truly wanting. Her and her Momma will enjoy borrowing it from one another. I would ten out of ten recommend. Okay so first off, the stretchiness of the shapewear is kinda minimal so you will have a bit of a hard time putting it on. I recommend getting it a size above so you can put in less effort in putting it on. Second, the quality of the fabric is good and definitely gives you the curve you’re aiming for. It’s tight but comfortable to breathe in. It straightens your back real good so you have to get used to it, but because of that the belly doesn’t pop out when you’re sitting down. It gives a real push up to your chest too! The zipper I was kinda having a hard time with because I was putting in a lot of effort on putting it on but I can tell it works.
