The Shark FlexStyle Air Styling & Drying System works great! It dries quickly and leaves hair soft and shiny. There’s a bit of a learning curve with the curling attachment, but once you get the hang of it, the results are beautiful. Love how versatile it is. definitely worth it! 🩷✨ Read more

What I love most about this Shark FlexStyle system is that it takes the place of so many other tools I own. Now I have one system that can blow-dry my hair, with or without a diffuser or concentrator, and can create curls or loose waves, or just add shaping and volume if I want to wear my hair straight. It's not very heavy and is so easy to use. The quality is superb, and it should last a long time since it is impossible to get my hair tangled up in the air intake, which is what usually ends old-school hair dryers. I can adjust airflow speed and heat level, so I don't have to worry about heat damage. It can also dry my hair very quickly. I have long, thick, wavy/curly hair that I often like to wear straight, and this one tool can do all of that, and fast. I have never been one to spend much time on my hair, but this one tool makes it fast and easy to make my hair literally look like I went to a salon for a blowout. It's awesome, and it's going to save me a lot of space too because it will replace several other tools that I already own. Well worth it for me! Read more

Oh my gosh. This thing is amazing. I have hesitated buying a fancy hair dryer/styler because I just always felt frugal about it and just figured my trusty conair was getting the job done fine. This has been a revelation. I have curly hair so I got the bundle with the diffuser, air wraps, straightening brush and blowout round brush. Between my daughter and I we have now tried them all. I use the diffuser pretty much daily. It is amazing. It has airflow through the teeth so it gets in to your scalp. The length of drying is cut down by so much. The straightening brush is also amazing. I get similar results to drying and using a flat iron. It takes some practice to find a comfortable hold when you are using the brush attachments but I find if I hold the thing vertically from below my arm gets less tired (I have a lot of hair and it is long). But if you are using just the dryer without an attachment, it is super slim and light. I love this and would recommend it to anyone! Read more

This is by far the best Shark hair dryer. I’ve used the older models and was not very impressed. They have definitely listened to customers and improved the product. Lightweight, easy to use, attachments secure solidly to base. Compact and great for travel. Heat settings and airflow are adjustable. There is a hot and cool flash button to customize your style. I’ve been consistently using exclusively for about a year with zero issues. Hoping this will last as long as my last shark dryer which went strong for over 6 years. Read more

Overall, I like this styler. I mostly got it for the blow drying capabilities since my hairdryer was old and needed to be replaced, I figured I might as well get an all-in-one tool to declutter the various other styling tools I have lying around. The round brush and paddle attachments work great, smooths hair nicely and dried my hair quickly. The air wrap curling wands are tricky, I haven’t been able to get the curls to stay in my hair but I think that’s due to my fine, wavy hair texture and the fact that once my hair is smoothed by heat, it wants to stay straight. I’m not a huge fan of putting a lot of hair products in my hair so I haven’t tried mousse, high hold hairspray, etc. to make the curls last, I just don’t curl my hair that often, so it’s not a deal breaker. But if you are someone who was looking for this functionality, you’d likely be disappointed. Read more

Just got this today. Initial review- - Dries hair FAST, I have very fine hair but a LOT of it, and this dried my hair in maybe half the time of a regular dryer - I dried my hair on the next to lowest heat setting- it didn’t burn my head at all but was still very effective at drying - I used the curling rods (comes with 2, one for left side and one for right side of head) and was pretty pleased with how easy they were to figure out See attached photos- for context, I used no products in my hair to combat frizz or add volume, etc. Had just washed my hair and was excited to test this out. Blow dried my hair until it was about 85% dry, and then grabbed a few sections to test the curling rods. I literally half-a**ed this and only curled a small number of sections in my hair, so just know that if you spend more than literally 6 minutes curling your hair with this, I think it’ll look ten times as good. This thing isn’t too heavy, and the attachments are very easy to switch out (they do have a locking mechanism so they don’t fall out while you’re using them). A lot of people have commented on the volume, but honestly- it doesn’t sound any louder to me than a typical blow dryer? The noise is slightly more high pitched than a normal dryer, so maybe that’s what people don’t like, but after 5 seconds of using it the sound literally became white noise to me. Honestly, I think it’s quieter than most hotel dryers. My one complaint isn’t really a complaint, I just didn’t read and realize that there’s a different curling wand for each side of the head. So you’ll basically curl one side of your head, then swap out the rod and curl the other side. I kind of wish it was just one rod to do the whole head, but with how they’re designed that wouldn’t work (unless you didn’t care about which way the curls face.) Each rod is clearly marked on the end with an L or an R so there’s no guesswork. As someone who loves to have nice hair but is infinitely lazy and unskilled with a curling iron or round brush, this seems like it was very well worth the purchase for me. If you’re already a pro at doing hair, you might not get as much use out of this set, but for me I’m very happy with the purchase. I chose this over the dyson because of the price point, but also because I’ve owned other products (vacuums lol) from each brand and I’ve found Shark products to be more reliable and dependable than Dyson stuff. Update: two weeks in and I’m loving this. Surprisingly, my favorite attachment is the round brush. It’s so easy to use that with the dryer to dry my hair and give it volume so my roots aren’t so flat. This thing also travels well- when you straighten out the dryer barrel, this was super easy for me to fit in my carry on bag and then I just threw the paddle brush attachment in my backpack. Easy peasy and I was able to use it to keep my hair looking full and lovely on a long weekend trip to the lake. Very happy with this purchase. Edit 2- 2 month update. I freaking love this thing. I actually don’t use the curling wands very often- I’ve been using both brush options to get volume and even curls in my hair. I’ve never been skilled (or patient) at doing my hair but this thing has been pretty much a game changer for me. Walked out of the house the other day looking like I had just gotten my hair professionally done, felt like a goddess. Read more
