I wanted an air purifier to help keep the air in my house clean. I have 2 cats and also wanted to make sure my house stays odor free. This air purifier fits the bill! It’s so easy to use; it reads the air quality in your house and starts to work according to how strong the odor is. Other brands just clean whenever, and don’t only run when they sense an odor or poor air quality. This purifier is super quiet on the lower speeds. It is louder on high, but it won’t stay on high for long. You can set it to automatic or run it when you want to run it. The light up display is wonderful, and you can either make the light less bright or turn them off all together. I haven’t seen a change in my electric bill, which is a plus! I love this so much I bought another one in this size and also bought the larger version! Highly recommend! *update* After using this air purifier since May of ‘24, sadly today the fan started squawking. I guess these aren’t built to last as 7 months for a Shark product seems bad. I bought this product as "renewed." Got a good price. Looks brand new including the cord. I previously bought a Shark (change filter every five years). Was going to buy another one of the same, but the price skyrocketed. I checked to see show much the filters are for this unit--reasonably priced. It's a little larger than expected, but that's my fault for not reading the measurements. Still, very doable. Hooked it up last night. No more sneezing and runny nose when I walk into this room. Like that it reads out air quality. I leave it on auto mode...not noisy. It didn't come with directions; however, you can print them. All and all I really like this product. Read more

I purchased two of these. One for my bedroom and one for the living room. I’m thinking of buying another one for my cats litter box. It definitely does its job and more. I enjoy it. My husband and I have lived in Texas our whole lives and we’ve recently been experiencing allergies. This is great for that and also for pet hair. I did buy a refurbished one and so far no problems operating it. The only thing I was concerned with is that , my guess, is when they opened the top to fix it ? (Again, not sure) the top was bent and it was popped out . Not sure if maybe it was dropped on its side during packing or after but I popped it right back in without a problem and it worked. I also noticed that there are some scratches on it. Being that it’s black it is noticeable but again I’m okay with that . I wouldn’t purchase a refurbished one again .
