I’ve now had this vacuum for a year, it is so well worth the money. I switched from my Dyson to this shark model. It’s easy to use, it’s easy to clean. The suction is the best I’ve ever seen in a vaccum. It’s lightweight. Lots of length to use attachments. The scent boosters work great. I can see where if I had dogs this would be great for the smell. The scent boosters also have levels you can set . I have cats and it collects the hair like no other vacuum. For noise level, I don’t think it’s loud. The quality of this baby is made built to last! I will never buy anything other vacuum. My only con is I wish I did this so much sooner! Read more

This is my third Shark vacuum and there is a reason I keep buying them! They just work, period. My daughter is moving into her own apartment for the first time and wanted the same Shark we already had. It doesn't seem to still be available so I let her take it with her and got a new one for myself. I do also own a lift away but find it a little too heavy to carry around. The super long hose on this item achieves the same thing and is way easier to use. Assembly was very easy and no tools were needed. All of the components just click into place and probably took two minutes to assemble. I have learned over time that the two included attachments are the only ones I really use and both can be stored right onboard the vacuum. I love that both the foam and felt filters can be rinsed in water and do not need to be repurchased. That being said, I usually buy another set anyway so that I can rinse one set and still be able to use the vacuum while they completely dry out. As for the performance, it works really well. The ability to easily adjust the level of suction right from the handle means that I can go from a throw rug, to an area rug, to a wood floor quickly and easily. The swivel operates flawlessly and makes maneuvering a breeze. And the extension of the hose is great. To reach the ceiling, I don't have to do any heavy lifting or stretching. The dust bin is quite large and is also easy to release and empty. This particular item might not have a tons of bells and whistles, but it just works. For 95% of my tasks, it's all I need. And it is a great value! Every single one of my Shark vacuums are still working great, and I'm sure this item is no exception. For the price, it has everything I need and really exceeded my expectations once I used it. I just purchased this vacuum and am really impressed with it after the first use. It was really easy to put together. The instructions included are detailed with pictures. It’s easy to transition to handheld. There’s no extra hose you have to lug around or store. It’s lightweight so moving it up and down my three-story townhouse is easy. It’s also very maneuverable getting around furniture and other items. The suction on this vacuum is amazing. It pulled out so much dirt from my rugs that I had no idea my old vacuum missed. I have a German Shepherd and two long haired cats who all shed a lot. My old vacuum could never get all the fur. I also haven’t had an issue with hair/fur getting stuck in the brushes. This thing pulls up everything. I’m just amazed at how much it picks up. Another feature I love is you can adjust the suction. I have different length rugs and I can lower the suction on the longer length rugs so the vacuum will actually move. There’s also a separate carpet and floor setting. Overall I’m really happy with my purchase so far. I will be able to keep my floors much cleaner. As you can see from the picture this was from an area rug. First- the positive. This is the best vacuum I have ever purchased in regards to suction and picking up embedded dirt. I have 2 cats so I have lots of cat hair and I cannot believe what is in that canister to dump when I'm done. My carpet fibers are also lifted and feel so clean under my bare feet. It's easy to put together and the rotating head is great to get at corners and beneath cabinets although it is a little awkward at times to maneuver. The vacuum is a little heavier than I like but its efficiency at cleaning carpets outweighs this minor disadvantage. Someone with wrist and hand issues may find this machine difficult to operate. The negative- the cord. The dreaded cord. First, it should be longer than it currently is but it is always constantly in the way and you really have to watch that you don't run over it. The little hook on the machine to snap the cord in is pretty useless and I, at least, have to maneuver the machine with the cord in my hand trying not to run over it. There should be a better system for this. Unless I'm missing something. Overall, this is a great purchase for the price and I am happy with it. Read more

This vacuum is wonderful. The suction is so powerful. The tools that attach to the wand are super helpful for picking up the dirt in the crevices and getting the pet hair off the couch. Its light and easy to use and has a good swivel design making turns easy. I would say it was definitely worth the money. Read more

I am so glad I bought this vacuum. Thanks to the great reviews. I have gone through other vacuums and the pet hair and my own hair would get tangled on the roller and it was a nightmare to clean out each time I would vacuum. Not with this vacuum. I have used it multiple times now and the roller is clear. It picks up all my pet hair and my own hair so I can vacuum regularly without having to clean the roller every single time I vacuum. Excellent high quality vacuum with lots of cleaning power. Easy to use right out of the box with minimum assembly needed. Portable and fairly light, the lift-away pod function works well in our house with several flights of stairs to clean. . Vacuuming power compares favorably to high end vacuums we own like an older Miele., which has stronger suction. Read more
