Quality product. Very satisfied Read more
The massage itself isn’t very effective. It’s very light on the most intense setting. It goes from hot to cold really fast, and the hot borders too hot because of the metal plates. There’s no specific instructions on where exactly the metal is supposed to sit on your face. The sound is okay, but it’s only on one side so it’s not well balanced. Read more
The music and massaging is so so great, the vibration mode is pointless, and my wife and I found it hard to wear properly, it felt more like it squeezes the sides of my head rather than being tight against my face Read more
This device is very relaxing and I have used it a lot. I let it cycle hot-cold, listen to spa music and relax. Great way to get ready for bed as it winds me down. I wish the battery lasted a little longer between charges but this device does so much I understand why I can only use it a few times in a row before it needs to be recharged. The massage and hot-cold with spa music makes me smile. My new go to item! Read more
There's a lot to unpack here with the Sharper Image RealTouch Eye Mask. Coming in at about $150 as of review time, this mask provides a lot of different features to provide some relaxation and comfort. First is the hot and cold therapy. Probably one of the two best features. There are two little metal nodes inside the mask that sit between the bridge of your nose and your eyes. A little cool to the initial touch, they can be turned to either cold, hot, cold and hot, or off. Each of these settings works very well. The cold gets quite cold, but not uncomfortably so, more like a slightly padded icepack. The hot gets nice and warm, similar to a hot towel centralized on your eyes that doesn't get cool, unless you choose the hot/cold where it swaps every minute or so. You can also just leave this setting off and focus on the other settings. Second is the vibration. This is probably the weakest feature of them all. You can turn it on but it doesn't seem to do much other than vibrate the mask. I never really felt any relief or relaxation from the mask in this regard. It would have been nice if it was more similar to a back massager where the vibration intensity could be adjusted and moved around the mask. Third is the compression, the second best feature. It has (what I believe) are air pockets on either side of the mask (cheek/temple area) as well as pockets across the forehead area. These will inflate and deflate in a set pattern over the course of the massager running. Sometimes they fully inflate and deflate, others they will partially inflate, deflate and inflate again before changing position/pattern. I got a lot of really good pressure relief from this feature. Great for when I wanted a head massage or I was dealing with sinus pressure. It might be a bit uncomfortable when fully inflated at times. However the straps on the back of the headset allow you to adjust how tight the headset sits on your head. Also, when the pockets inflate, the mask has a groove in the center that allows the mask to expand slightly, so it's not just squeezing your head. Fourth would be the music and bluetooth features. It comes with a set of pre-built in soundscapes, like nature sounds and rain sounds, that you can cycle through. The speakers are a little muddled when the when the voice tells you about setting changes, but the music sounds are actually fairly nice. You can also connect a Bluetooth device (phone, etc) and just play whatever music or streaming service directly to the headset. Comfort can be questionable at times. While the padding is rather soft and feels decent, it's a rather heavy headset and might not be the most comfortable while sitting up. Always found it better to be laying back in bed while having this on. Let gravity handle some of the work. Each 'session' lasts around 15 minutes before automatically turning off, however you can turn it right back on if you want more. Battery life seems decent so far haven't HAD to charge it after multiple uses, but still did so and found it charged back up fairly quickly using the usb-c cord. All in all, a great device, helped me with some relaxation and pressure relief with the compression and hot/cold therapy features. Read more
This is not an eye massager like I was looking for. I suffer from migraines and this thing is loud, and triggers claustrophobia. The compression and noise is the last thing you want if you have a migraine. It feels like torture. I can’t use this. So disappointed. Read more
