I was disappointed when I first opened the package because I expected the arm portion to be made of a thicker material (and would still prefer that). But the support this gives is exceptional - so much better than the fabric arm sling I got at CVS. When my shoulder is acting up (arthritis), I need to stop using it for a while. That is the only way I get full range of motion back quickly. But I forget and use it without a sling before the pain reminds me. So having this extra strap that goes around the back is so great. It keeps me from being able to forget. It will take far less time to recover if I'm not continually re-aggravating my shoulder 10 times a day. Now if they just made one for the shower so I would remember to wash my hair one-handed. Read more

There were no instructions, just the item in a plastic ziplock style bag. I had a little time trying to figure out how to connect the straps. It is a different style sling than I am used to using. I got it assembled and put my arm in it, but it just seems weird, how it sits on my body. And the body of the sling is shorter than I expected. That said, the straps are thick and soft. The buckles look like good quality, as well as the Velcro. Read more

The Shoulder Immobilizer is an excellent product designed for both men and women recovering from rotator cuff injuries or other shoulder issues. Its large size offers a comfortable fit while providing the necessary support to immobilize the shoulder, promoting healing. I have been wearing it to sleep after I hurt my rotator cuff and it seems to reduce my pain in the morning. One of the standout features of this shoulder brace is its adjustable straps, which allow for a customized fit that accommodates various body types. The material is breathable, making it comfortable to wear for extended periods without causing irritation. Additionally, it’s easy to put on and take off, which is a big plus for those who need to adjust it frequently. Overall, this shoulder immobilizer is a practical choice for anyone looking to recover from a shoulder injury safely and effectively. Read more

I am 6 foot tall and selected the large (16") size because I wanted my hand to extend past the end of the sling. After wearing the sling, that size does work well for me. The shoulder immobilizer shipped in a re-useable Ziploc bag, but there was no box or written instructions. It took some trial and error to put the immobilizer on correctly and comfortably. The top of the sleeve is partially sewn together making the immobilizer difficult to put on by yourself, so a helper may be needed especially if your arm is hurting. The immobilizer is very secure once both straps are adjusted and tightened. Detailed wearing instructions and a nicer storage bag would have rated 5 stars. Read more

This shoulder/arm brace has the most comfortable padded straps I've found, and they're easy to place or remove with one arm, which is a huge bonus. The overall construction is really sturdy as well; no real concern with it falling apart! There's one problem, or rather two: there's no finger-loop to keep one's arm from sliding forward, and the elbow of the brace is raised, which pushes the arm forward. If you get a size that's 3-4 inches longer than you'd expect, it might work well for supporting your entire arm, but if you get the "right" size based on measurements, the person's hand will be hanging out. I ordered the Shoulder Immobilizer in size large to help with a shoulder injury, and it has been so helpful during my recovery. The brace is very well-padded, making it comfortable to wear for extended periods without causing irritation or discomfort. The material feels high-quality, and the adjustable straps allow for a secure and customized fit. It provides excellent support, keeping my shoulder stable and in the proper position as I heal. It’s easy to put on and take off, which is a bonus when dealing with limited mobility. Overall, this shoulder immobilizer has been exactly what I needed for my injury. If you’re dealing with a shoulder injury, dislocation, or post-surgery recovery, I highly recommend it! Read more

Shame on them for calling this an immobilizer. It's just a thin cotton sling with a strangely shaped elbow corner that makes it ill-fitting, and nothing about this sling provides any support or immobilization other than what can be provided by the shoulder strap and waist strap, which must both be worn together if you're to have any support at all -- and even that amount of support is highly questionable and barely exists. To make matters worse, on the one I got, the Velcro on the shoulder strap was stitched onto the wrong side on one end, requiring the strap to be twisted in order to be secured. If you've ever worn a sling with a twisted strap, you know how uncomfortable that is. Seriously, I've used mesh shower slings that provided better support than this thing does. Avoid if you need real support for an actual injury or surgery recovery! Read more
