I've tried several different "cervical" pillows for neck and shoulder pain, including solid memory foam. I was skeptical but had to try something different. This works!! Finally! Just enough support for the neck and head, and crosses the tops of the shoulders rather than forcing you to rest part of the shoulders on the same level as the head. I really like the idea that you can choose how much foam to put in the pillow. I am the absolutely worst at finding a pillow I like. They are either too stiff or too soft. I feel like there should be three bears in the house as I want to find the one that is just right. I didn't notice any bad smell which is good, but I did let it air out for a couple of days first to be safe. Since you get to stuff your own pillow so to speak, it will give you the head/neck support you need. It is actually not too bad with that. Not perfect mind you, but not too bad. The quality is good. There is nothing here that makes me feel like it isn't a quality product. My sleep on the other hand, wasn't perfect. The first couple of nights it was too firm so I took some stuffing out. I think I now have the right amount of stuffing, but the problem now is that I get hot at night and when you flip this pillow over, it isn't cool. In some ways it traps some of your heat and doesn't cool off at night. If you are not a warm person and heat up pillows, you might be great with this and have a great night sleep. If I don't get too warm at night, I do have a good night's sleep with this and a quality sleep without too much turning. Overall, I think the price point is good and this is a good quality product except that it does trap some heat. I hope this review was helpful! Read more
