So I live in rural New Hampshire for College and as the Winter breeze hits, dry eyes are a lot more common, this is such a comforting eye mask to get through the cold, relieve eye-stress after long hours on a computer and the battery life isn't a hassle! Review after 4 months. I have had Keratoconjunctivitis sicca (AKA dry eye disease) for many years. I'd wake up in the AM with sore, goopy eyes, crusty eyelids, and inflamed corneas, which made it hard to even read my phone or morning paper. In addition to prescription Cequa drops, my eye specialist recommended that I use a warm compress to help relieve the symptoms. I first tried warm, wet compresses and then tried bead-filled microwavable versions, but they would lose their heat before I was done and would need reheating. Not a great incentive to use them So I checked reviews on rechargeable versions. Based on reviews, I bought this model. The results are impressive. 1. I use it when I go to bed at night, and when I wake up in the AM, 15 minutes/session. This routine really helped alleviate my dry eyes through the night and during the day. No more sore, crusty eyes. 2. A single charge is good for two sessions. You can set it at High or low power depending on your comfort level. (I use high, which plenty warm, but not excessive) 3. The compress is easy to adjust to most head sizes, although the strap may need to be re-tightened periodically. The silk cover is easy to remove and wash: I just use baby shampoo in my sink and rinse it in fresh water. Read more

The hot setting is warm but I would not say hot. It takes a few minutes to warm up. It goes off automatically at 20 minutes so if you have a set time you use it, it may go off. Read more

This eye mask is well made, fits well, and is comfortable to wear, however I would not recommend this product to anyone. The mask charges quickly but the battery is dead after about 15 minutes of use. This does not allow the heat to penetrate to the inner eye to help release the oils. For the high price this mask is not a good value. Read more
The fabric is soft. It's easy to control. A charge last about 30 minutes. The negative though is, only about the top 2/3 of the mask gets hot, so it doesn't heat the lower eyelid. Read more
I have some mild eye conditions, including clogged tear ducts, requiring an at least yearly expensive procedure. I used to use a microwavable eye sized gel pack for warming my tear ducts. The temperature was never the same, and it didn’t stay warm very long. Plus, I had to get up and heat it up every time I needed to use it four times a day. This has been so much easier to deal with and works much better! It’s very comfortable and easily chargeable, and with the price! Read more
