I've used a microwavable mask for a while, and it make a huge difference in my eye feeling for the day. However, who wants to get out of bed at 5am to microwave something and then spend another 20min with your eyes covered? this thing is battery operated, so I thought, perfect. I just need to reach over, sling it over my eyes, and I'm good. It works to a degree. My microwavable one delivered much better heat and contact with the lower/inner eye corner. It lasted just about the perfect time too. The inconvenience of it tho just meant I almost never used it when I should. This mask solves it to a degree, but it just need to be a little hotter. Also, the battery really kind of blows. It says you can get a few 20 min sessions out of a charge. Brand new I'm lucky if I get 2.5. One for night one for morning. And really, because the heat is lacking a bit, 40 mins would be ideal. I have other battery powered heating items than last like 8 hours with more intense heat, so I'd expect a little better. I like that it has a washable outer, and it is still convenient and usable enough to make a small difference in my eye feelings. Might have to shop for better tho. Read more
