Cross shopping a Nespresso foamer I tried this one. Yes it is more cheaply made of less durable materials and the cord is shorter and lighter gauge, but it works well. Can’t tell its durability at this point but at the price one cannot complain. I like the settings options, but honestly I only use Setting 2 for thicker foam. Setting 1 produced lighter foam yielding about double the amount so be careful how much milk you pour and which setting you are on or you can easily overflow the container. I purchased this to replace my old instant frother/steamer that died on me, so I didn’t want to spend a lot and needed something that could do the basics, nothing fancy. This is perfect. I can get steamed milk and foam and even cold foam in about a minute. It even gets a dense foam from almond milk which my old one never did. This frother works well. I use it to make cappuccino and latte from either espresso or Aeropress coffee. It is more convenient and easier to clean than the steamer included with my espresso machine. I would award it 5 stars instead of 4 stars if it were immersible in water to clean it. Read more

Wonderful milk frother while it worked! No complaints with its ability, and if the tech within it lasted it would've basically been flawless. I'd say it's a paragon of the classic phrase "you get what you pay for." It works great, but it didn't last. Looks like the company provides 2 year warranty on it so I'll do the same as others and check with them for a replacement. Otherwise, I'll denote my cons since the pros are pretty evident. :) Cons: -Milk burns in a specific area. Needs to be cleaned after each single froth (e.g., no making 2 cups back to back). -Spinning frother died after 6 months of regular, but not excessive, use. No seeming cause. Just suddenly went out. -Turning it on, pretty much from the day I purchased it, was hit and miss. I'd put it on the cradle and would typically have to put it on and back off 3-4 times before it powered on. Unsure if this is related to the motor giving up or just a quirk of the connection/QA. I've had this electric milk frother for six months now, and for the vast majority of that time, it was an absolute hero on my countertop. I'm a big coffee drinker, so this thing got a workout, usually 2 to 3 times every single day. I'd use it to create perfectly creamy lattes, rich hot chocolates, and light, airy frothed milk for cold brews. The design is sleek and looks great on the countertop. It's incredibly easy to use with a single button, and cleaning it was simple. Considering how well it performed and the features it offered, I felt it was a very fairly priced gadget. However, yesterday, after months of faithful service, it just stopped working. One minute it was frothing perfectly, and the next, it wouldn't create any foam at all. The warming function still seems to work, but the frothing mechanism has completely given up. It's a real shame because I loved this product and normally recommend it to everyone. It was a fantastic product while it lasted, but I'm disappointed that its lifespan was so short given how much I relied on it.
