My husband likes his coffee very dark and strong and drinks the pot dry thru out the day. I only drink a cup or maybe 2 a day and I have to water it down since it's too strong for me! So I started checking out Keurig Mini K-pod coffee machines but they cost more than I was willing to spend! So I checked out the alternative brands and found the Tastyle Single Serve Coffee Maker for Kcups. I chose the Tastyle because you can use K-pods or make coffee with your own grounds as well as tea and iced coffee! I received the machine earlier this past week and have used it every day. I love it! It makes a great cup of hot coffee! I love using pods but I also love being able to use regular ground coffee in the ground coffee filter cup that comes with the machine. It works great too! The price was affordable and it fits on my kitchen counter along with my husband's regular 12 cup coffee maker. Now he can have the whole pot of strong coffee to himself and I can have a cup or 2 of medium brew from my own machine! Just remember, it only makes one cup at a time so only use the amount of water that you want in the size of cup you choose to use. Some people don't like to have to add water to the machine every time they want a cup of coffee. But I like knowing that the water is fresh with every cup (instead of sitting in the reservoir for several days) and it's so easy! I am very happy with my purchase! Read more

I’m so glad I found this compact Tastyle coffee maker—it’s a total gem! I love that it works with K-Cups, ground coffee, and even tea leaves, giving me so much flexibility without cluttering my counter. The bold setting is fantastic for those mornings when I need an extra kick, and I’m impressed by how quickly it brews—even when I use the full 16 oz size. It’s also small enough to fit perfectly in my kitchen nook without taking up too much space. I’ve tried both hot and iced options, and they come out great every time. Cleanup is a breeze too, which is a big plus. This little machine feels like it was designed with real coffee lovers in mind. For the price, you seriously can’t beat it. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a simple, powerful, and versatile brewer! Read more

If you want a Keurig with out the Keurig price this is what you're looking for, works as intended and quickly. Capacity is enough for a 16oz thermos style cup one button operation makes it easy to use, the design is slim and fits perfect on the counter. And super easy to clean only down side is sometimes it feels like it's too hot but that's usually when making multiple cups back to back. Read more

The coffee maker was a nice idea and I love the attachments since I’m a tea drinker, not a coffee drinker. However, the unit does not sit level, which was a bit annoying, had a high pitch whistling noise, and it had an awful plastic smell and taste. I tried doing several hot water rinses, cleaning cycles, used vinegar a couple of times and did many rinses. I could never remove the plastic smell. Guess they used cheap plastic. I contacted their customer service and they promptly replied. They had no solution for the problem, so just immediately gave me a refund. I had really high hopes. Now I have to hunt around for something else, sadly. Read more

I bought this unit specifically to take with me a couple times a year when my wife and I rent a place for visits to her family. There's always a drip coffee maker in the house, but I hate making a pot when I know that half of it will be thrown out. Also, I order K-cups on a Subscribe and Save plan, so we have oodles of them in our favorite flavors to take along. This unit works as advertised. I've had no problems with the cups sealing and no grounds in the coffee. The temperature is good and hot. It will make large coffees, not just 8 or 12 ounce coffees. Plus, it has a "Bold" setting if you want your coffee a little stronger. Finally, it travels well. Just leave everything open for a couple hours and it will dry out. I just stick it back in the box when I transport it. I'm pleased with it. Read more

I got this to replace my wonderful Dnsly single-cup coffee maker which lasted for over five years of daily use but, apparently, is no longer manufactured. This one meets all the criteria that made me love the Dnsly, with a few plusses and a couple of minuses. Pros: - Slim design and small footprint - Is able to hold a tall travel mug - Most important - is able to brew 16 oz of coffee to FILL a tall travel mug! (For some reason the Keurig company STILL hasn't got the message that, in America, 10 oz. is not even a full mug of coffee, let alone a large one!) Better than the Dnsly: - A "Bold" brew option. It really does brew a stronger cup of coffee, which I prefer. Apparently it does this by splooshing some hot water on top of the grounds and letting them sit for a little while before proceeding with the rest of the brewing cycle. - The brewing buttons are on top and easy to see, rather than down on the side on the bottom where they're hard for guests to find. Cons: - Somewhat flimsier construction than the Dnsly - The brewing basket is hard to remove when still hot, if someone wants to make a cup of coffee right after the first one. I like to be considerate and take the brewing basket out and wash it in case my husband wants to make his coffee right after I do, but the hot steam rising from the still-hot grounds makes this almost impossible without having to wait for it to cool down, and that could take a while! I'm trying to devise some way to attach a "handle" to it so I can grab it without getting steam burns, but I'm gonna order a spare basket first in case I ruin it by doing that! Read more
