I bought this to replace a keurig that was making weak coffee. This is more compact. I like that it automatically shuts off after 10 minutes. My coffee actually has flavor again. Can make up to 24oz. The only drawback is it does splatter a little bit, but it's not too bad. Read more
Wife wanted to replace our 7-8 year old Kurig coffee maker because it was a little difficult to clean, parts were wearing out and took up a lot of counter space (I’m a cheapskate and hate to replace things that still work well enough!). This Tastyle, at a fraction of the price of our old Kurig, seems to check all the boxes for my wife: easy to clean and much smaller. I appreciate the multiple cup size and the ability to produce a full cup of hot water with a single tap for my tea. It does brew much slower than the old Kurig, but that might actually make a better cup of coffee. Heck, I’m retired so an extra minute waiting for my coffee isn’t a big deal. The water reservoir is smaller than the old Kurig and probably only holds enough water for two mugs, but that keeps the overall size small. Ours lives near the sink, so not a big deal to top up the reservoir. Just hope we can get at least 7 years from this machine. Read more
Coming from a large Keurig I am so pleasantly surprised by how well this works. It saves a lot of space, lightweight, super easy to use and clean and makes hot and iced coffee at various sized mugs. The only complaint I have is that it splashes coffee onto the counter as it’s brewing but I just wipe it up. I would also recommend that you pour the water directly into the reservoir and not remove the reservoir to fill it because it’s not very good quality plastic. That’s the only reason why I gave it 4 stars. It does a very nice job making your coffee. 6-24 ounces at a time! And it’s pretty fast too. Read more
This is a wonderful coffee maker and I’m so glad I made this purchase. This coffee maker is thin doesn’t take up a lot of space & looks nice. It is durable, easy to use, quiet, makes coffee quickly, and the coffee tastes great. I haven’t made ice coffee yet but will write another review when I do; buy it you won’t regret your purchase. Best coffee maker I’ve ever used. Got this to replace a small Keurig machine that died after 3 months. Easy to use, has both bold and iced coffee settings, can use k-pods or regular ground coffee, and takes up very little counter space. Great value for the price. Read more
If you're like me - you carefully read the reviews and make an informed decision based on them. I did the same for this unknown brand called Tastyle? (Whatever that means) but here's the low down. The Strong setting on the coffee pot - does just that. The 24 ounce... You really need a 24 ounce cup for that and I thought for sure the coffee would taste watered down at that amount for one k-pod. Thankfully it wasn't. (I also picked strong brew). While I'm not needing the 24 ounce button - it's nice to know this will easily make a huge cup of coffee. It gives exactly what you want - and it tastes great - so yes, it some how gets the most out of one little k-pod. Here's the kicker I didn't know until AFTER i bought it... the coffee filter that comes with it... It holds a LOT of coffee grounds. It's not a k-pod size, it's large. So if I wanted a 24 ounce strong cup of coffee with just coffee grounds (no k-pod) - it gives me that option. I like how it's sleek, has a small footprint - but a great size water reservoir. All in all - this is a great choice on multiple levels and I am glad that I took the chance on trusting the five star reviews... they were right. It's a good little coffee pot to have. Stop scrolling and searching. Buy it - you'll thank me later. Oh, *knock on wood* should anything happen between now and the future - I will update this comment to reflect what happened.
