Solid shoe and x-wide is actually wide!
Very nice shoes with a comfortable size toe box. I normally wear 4ee sized boots and these were ever so slightly smaller than my red wing boots for work. Look wise is, well the dad look. But I care more for function over style. Break in period was pretty quick too at about 2 weeks. Note: I recommend buying insoles with these shoes. The ones provided have little to no support for me (6'4" and 230lbs) Read more

The most comftable for everyday use
I love Sochers loafers. Those shoes are the most comfortable shoes that I have ever worn. And on top of that very durable. I definitely buy another color or model again. Read more
Slip on fairly easily with some effort.
Pretty easy to slip on but still requires some effort to keep the back from bending over, My husband has had to learn how to walk on the hardwood floors without the bottoms catching him. I added an extra insert, Dr Scholls, because they didn't fit to heel well enough to keep slippage from occurring. His orthotics made them too tight. Better than walking around in no slip socks!
