This Ailonshawn balaclava/ski mask does a decent job of keeping my face warm when there's little or no wind. But it's not wind resistant and the material is not quite as comfortable as competing products made from, for example, Smartwool or Polartec. Regarding sizing, I have a large head--7-7/8 - 7-3/4 inches--and the Ailonshawn is comfortable if a little snug. I imagine that people with much smaller heads may find it uncomfortably large. For the price and for those whom it fits, however, it's a fair value. But if you can afford something with wind-resistant properties, I'd get that. Read more
