My one comment is in -20f weather...with a 10mph or more wind..I needed a hat for my head. Other than that..its great. (even then it was good everywhere else.) Decent material. Soft. No lose threads as of yet. Flops around nicely when you dont need a full balaclavava. Wore it out the box. Havent washed it yet. But guess it be fine. For the price its fantastic. For anything shor t of the above mentioned weather..it darn good Read more
nice fleece for cold weather. I switched over to this fleece when it's got too cold for my other head cover. This head cover also keeps you warmer than any mesh fabric head cover due to the fleece fabric and also, since you can breathe into it, each inhale then pulls in pre-heated air from your last breath. I purchased this to buy in colder weather. The fabric is significantly thicker than I thought it would be, suggesting that it is made of high-quality materials that will block wind and keep me warm. The fabric feels comfortable against the skin and seems to be easily stretched to larger sizes. In fact, the size is a little bigger than I would anticipate for a large and is most suitable for those with large heads. Overall, a comfortable and warm face covering for outdoor activities in the cold. Read more

This Ailonshawn balaclava/ski mask does a decent job of keeping my face warm when there's little or no wind. But it's not wind resistant and the material is not quite as comfortable as competing products made from, for example, Smartwool or Polartec. Regarding sizing, I have a large head--7-7/8 - 7-3/4 inches--and the Ailonshawn is comfortable if a little snug. I imagine that people with much smaller heads may find it uncomfortably large. For the price and for those whom it fits, however, it's a fair value. But if you can afford something with wind-resistant properties, I'd get that. Read more
