I instantly paired them with Bluetooth, pressed play on Van Halen, and I was back in 1984 at the Mid-South Coliseum! These are the best headphones I've ever heard. They're not painfully loud, but they pump out thumping bass and vibrate my head. Enough bass to feel like I'm getting buck wild up in the club. You can FEEL the kick drum! And they are clear enough to hear the original recording noise on studio recordings. Rolling up the bass wheel gives the impression of higher volume music without loud high frequencies damaging your eardrums. If you have a pathological passion for music, you'll love these headphones. I also noticed a switch toggles between 3 listening modes: ANC Off, ANC On, Stay-Aware. I was in my yard and the noise cancellation (ANC) totally silenced a garbage truck dumping my trash. When I turned on Stay-Aware (transparency mode), microphones in the headset apparently amplified the outside noise so I could hear the garbage truck and other ambient sounds perfectly. This mode is great if you're wearing them in a place where safety is important, so you can hear outside noises. I chose the bone color so the sun won't heat them up when I'm wearing them outside. They came with a nice bag, but the headphones are standard size and fit into a non-branded headphone case I purchased for some other wireless cans. The Bluetooth works well and paired instantly with my phone and laptop. The ear pads and head pad are soft and comfortable, so the phones feel like part of my head when I wear them. Hanging these phones on a hook might damage these soft pads, so I intend to store them in a case, but they appear to be durable enough for careful users. If you abuse your stuff, these soft pads might not last long. These Crusher ANC2 headphones are expensive so I got the Prime Day deal for $124, but I think these headphones are worth the full price if you love music and you've purchased as many low-quality headphones as I have. I wish I had bought two pairs now, so I could give one pair as a gift. Music just sounds better with powerful, high-quality headphones. Read more

So I've been using mid-range Sony over ear headphones for years. A few weeks ago I found some Bose Quiet Comforts on an early Black Friday sale, and although I've always wanted some, I've never wanted to spend $300+ to get Bose headphones, but for $170 I got them and was really exicted to try them out! They are solidly built, comfortable, sound good, and I like the physical buttons and switches, but I was underwhelmed with the sound. They just didn't sound full enough for my taste. So when I saw these Skullcandy Crusher 2 ANCs on a Black Friday sale I thought I'd give them a try, and they arrived today. I downloaded the Skullcandy IQ app, went through setup for my hearing, and started listening to a playlist I have specifically to test out new headphones...and OH MY GOSH!!! The sound was not only full, and pretty clear at all frequencies (I'm no audiophile, but I have a music degree and a pretty good ear), but the bass was...stunning! It has a thumbwheel where you can adjust how much bass it has, but it wasn't just that you can crank up the bass, you can FEEL it, even when the volume isn't up all the way. They call it "sensory bass", and my guess is they use electronic haptics to make the headphones rumble a little. The effect is like you are at a live concert where you can FEEL the bass, or while watching a movie, I felt like I was at an IMAX where you can feel the sound. I was SO pleasantly surprised!!! I LOVE it!!! And with the thumb wheel, you can quickly adjust it to just the right level for whatever you happen to be listening to so you can experience it pleasantly without inflicting hearing damage. Plus, the app allows you to customize pretty much everything, including custom programming the physical buttons, which is awesome! In short, I'm in love with these, and the Boss Quiet Comforts are going back! Read more

I love these headphones to death. These are some of the best headphones i ever had. The sound quality is superb and the bass is so amazing and the bass is like having a car speaker in your ear and theres the little knob that allows you to control the bass because you can turn the bass really high or off. It also has cool volume buttons on it for easy volume adjustments and its simple to use just press the power button on and have it connected to you device and i use a iphone 13 mini with bluetooth. The design is really fantastic and the headphones are comfortable to wear for long periods of time. The connectivity is great too i like that you can use it wireless or wired with the wire it comes with for old devices with a headphone jack I think this is a must have and you wont be disappointed with these especially if you can get these when they’re on sale. After using this pair of headphones for almost a month I can confidently say that I’m surprised at how good they are, I have not charge them more than once in all that time and I still have plenty of juice left. Mic is nothing to write home about though, I feel like that’s the biggest downside of these headphones, by what I have tested with other people they’ve told me it sounds muffled and quiet. But if you’re in it for a very inexpensive pair that sounds good then I would definitely recommend this one. Read more
