We're all worth it!—November 14, 2024✓ Verified purchase
My toddler sleeps in the bed with me so it’s important to me to have a waterproof cover on my NaturePedic California king mattress. I have tried other brands in the past and they felt like sleeping on a plastic bag. This one is like they say it is: there is no noise, It doesn’t make you sweaty, It’s quite comfortable. You don’t even notice it’s there unless there is a spill and then you remember because thankfully your mattress didn’t get destroyed. I ordered an extra one so I never have to wait while one is in the laundry. I highly recommend. Update: I’ve had them for over a year and as they age they do pill a little bit in the dryer, but it doesn’t bother me. I can’t tell when it’s on the bed underneath my sheets. Still recommend and think it’s a great value for the money. Hope this review was helpful! :) Read more

It definitely has water resistance and is soft so we didn’t fill there is another layer. Read more

This fits my foton sofa which is the size when let down of a twin bed. I put it underneath a sofa cover, with a 2" foam pad underneath. It fits fine. (I mostly keep this down and rest/nap on it often.) This is very soft. It is not at all noisy. It feels like a felt velvet. It does stop at least small spills from soaking through to the memory foam. I've spilt about 1/3 of a can of soda on it, and it was easy to clean up. Most of it rolled off the cover and ended up in the floor. Read more

I like that this doesn't sound or look like there is a waterproof cover on the bed. I take care of children and don't want accidents soaking into the mattress but also don't want kids to feel like they are being treated like babies. In my house growing up the plasticky mattress covers were used until we were all in at least middle school to prevent nosebleeds from soaking into the mattresses so to me it is just a good thing to have, but I know in other homes the plastic ends when the kid is potty trained so I don't want kids to feel babied when I still use a protector. This protector just looks like padding. It is okay comfort wise - I just personally prefer a more firm mattress, Having the padding is actually really great though for containing spills or accidents as it starts trapping liquid and keeping it from spreading so you are less likely to have to change the comforter with a potty accident than with the plasticky covers. It fits the mattress well and is easy to wash with the sheets. I have no concerns about this mattress protector. Read more

I was expecting to receive the pad shown in the picture. What i received was definitely waterproof, but much thinner. Maybe 1/4 inch. Highly diappinting. Read more

Mattress protectors are a pretty standard these days with waterproofing coming from either a vinyl sheet with or without a polyester blanket-like top layer (think baby mattress protector) or a poly-membrane coating under a thin (usually fuzzy) sheet. This mattress protector is a hybrid using a blanket-style top layer over the poly membrane layer. The interesting thing here is that the top layer is actually really soft and not like the usually very cheap and scratchy feeling top layers that you usually get with a mattress protector. This is important if you like thinner or softer sheets where the material underneath the sheet can be easily felt. The other thing to note is that they mean it when they say deep pocket. This is clearly designed for thick pillow top mattresses and not your old-school standard thickness mattresses. Yes it will fit them, and that's where I put this one, but it will slide around if not locked down by the mattress sheet. All in all, I was pleasantly surprised by thi protector and will update the review if I have any kind of durability issues. Though do note that these in general don't last forever and after a few years almost all will have the poly layer delaminate from the sheet and need to be replaced. Read more

I got this mattress protector for my 2.5yo’s new twin bed He’s starting to potty train and I want to make sure the mattress can survive through that time. This mattress protector can fit a pretty thick mattress. We bought a thinner mattress because we want him to be able to climb into bed - there is plenty of extra room on this protector to fit a thicker mattress. I am very impressed with the thickness and softness of this mattress protector. It feels more like a mattress pad then it does a waterproof protector. It’s great - it’s like two products in one! This mattress protector doesn’t make that weird plasticy wrestling sound with you move in the bed. I’m very happy with this mattress protector and glad our mattress won’t be soiled! **If you found this review helpful, please click the ‘Helpful’ button below. Read more
