Purchased to go on the four legs of an old iron bed. The legs are rough metal on the bottom and we were concerned it would ruin the hard floor. These fit the legs and work great. You do have to make sure they stay on when sliding the bed and they do not slide well on hard floor. Thinking I might add a felt pad on each to resolve this issue. Would buy again. Read more

These Slipstick pieces are intended to be placed under the legs of any furniture that you might have, in order to protect your floors and carpets. These have the added advantage of preventing the furniture from sliding around on the floor, as when someone throws themself into a chair, or some such similar activity. They are a bit thinner than others that I have used from different manufacturers. Only time will tell if they last as long as the far thicker version. As they are, they work well, fit nicely under the wheels of a bed frame, and completely prevent any movement or slippage upon the hardwood floor. These, or some similar version should always be used under the legs and wheels of furniture. Without these, a good rug can actually have a hole cut through it, with enough time, and certain types of legs and wheels on furniture. Hardwood floors are even more at risk, as the furniture will slide back and forth, causing deep and sometimes permanent gouges upon the wood floor. Using these special floor protectors is so easy, and can save one from much grief. There are many brands, styles, and colors on the market. You must choose what best suits your needs. This product seems firm and strong, but just a bit thinner than I had expected. They are being used on a hardwood floor, so time will tell if they have the strength required to serve their purpose. I have an antique metal bed frame with post-type legs and hardwood floors. I'd tried adapting the cups made for modern bed frame casters, but they didn't work very well with the posts. And then I found these non slip rubber cups. I've been using these for several months now and they keep the bed from shifting as my dog launches herself onto it from crazy angles. It doesn't stick to the floor or floor finish, as well as protects the floor from the metal legs. The cups have a lip around them so that even if the posts were to shift on the cup, it would be very difficult for them to "roll off" the edge like some other products I've tried for other furniture. You can even cut these to size along pre-formed rings, although I left them at their original size. I've bought several more of these and highly recommend them! Read more

These are a floor saver! I recently moved into a new house and the old owners replaced the hardwoods after they moved out. Turns out the wood is very soft and dents easily. After living here for months, I shifted my couch and there were a handful of small dents from the legs of the couch. I had the felt pads under the legs but the weight humans/dogs/cats created dents. The couch also moved every time we sat on it b/c the felt pads were slick, so now I have several quarter sized dents on my wood floors. Enter these handy rubber disks... The couch no longer slides around and they have helped prevent dents! I can't do anything about what is already there but I am happy knowing I won't be adding more dents every time I sit down. These are nice and round. They have a low lip and are flexable. However, they slide around a smooth floor. This is good for moving things but not for something that will move a lot such as a bed or couch. Read more

I bought these because every morning I come downstairs to find part of my sectional separated from the rest. My son for some reason can't sit on a couch without pushing it 5 ft back and acts like he can't see what I'm talking about when I'm yelling about it the next morning. I was so sick of having to realign it every single day. I got the Slipsticks yesterday and put them on right away. This morning when I got up my sectional was perfectly aligned. These work perfectly and are saving my sanity. The feet of the sectional do not show so these do not show either. I have another couch though that the legs do show. So I wouldn't be able to use them with that couch. So look at your couch before you buy if you care wether they are visible or not. They may not work for everyone. I love it though.
