Solid construction. Durable. Read more
This is a decent selfie stick, but not as good as expected. The legs hold the stick alright but are a little cheap. The phone holder is a little small and although my 16 Pro Max with case will fit, I have to stretch it to its limits to make it wide enough to work. I really don't trust my phone in the holder. I will probably use this for my GoPro, but only as a backup since my other selfie sticks are of better quality. I have a lot of SmallRig products and this by far is the lowest quality product. That being said, it does work, just not to what I would expect from SmallRig. Given the quality, the price is a little high for what you get. Read more
This is a great little selfie stick that has both a tripod and a phone mount. It was very easy to set up in use. It's a little wobbly if you extended all the way with the phone on top and try to use the tripod, but I wouldn't use this as a use case very often. It's more like you want the tripod to stabilize it while you're holding in your hand on a table. It was very easy to set up and very easy to use. It seemed very high-quality and I think it'll last a while. It doesn't weigh a lot for its size but seems very sturdy. So far so good! Read more
This SmallRig selfie stick has exceeded my expectations with its dual functionality as both a selfie stick and tripod. What really impressed me was how sturdy it is when set up as a tripod - I was genuinely surprised by the stability it provides despite being so compact when collapsed. The setup and breakdown process is incredibly smooth and intuitive, making it perfect for quick transitions between handheld and stationary use. The extension range from 7.8 to 37.4 inches gives excellent flexibility for different shooting scenarios, whether I'm capturing action shots or setting up for video calls. The phone mount is secure and reliable, and I appreciate that it also works with action cameras for more adventurous content. The build quality feels premium and durable, yet it remains lightweight enough for travel. For anyone looking for a versatile mounting solution that doesn't compromise on stability, this delivers exactly what you need in one compact package. Read more
This is a review of the SMALLRIG branded Selfie Stick Model 5403. It differs in many good ways from other selfie sticks. It is good thickness aluminum alloy rather than plastic so much more durable (great). It does not bend with gusts of wind. While it takes a bit of strength to pull open or close, I am fine with that β it does not seem to scratch the handsome finish of the hexagonal (not round) tubes. That firmness means it does not twist (very good). Length starts out closed at 8.7β and maximum is 37.4 Inches. You can collapse the thinner tubes for even more high rigidity if not needed to be that long. One quibble that I did not take off points. The instructions are sparse and the insert recommends you download their instructions. Do not like when any manufacturers do that, as I do not trust connecting to unvetted URLs. Neither should anyone else including manufacturers themselves want to connect! Assembly is easy enough to figure out without instructions. However, I have included photos that show how the pieces go together. There is also a base that screws into the handle. That can serve as a tripod but I do not recommend use of that unless there is no wind. You can also use this item with two hands, resting base on belt belly for improved stability, 3-point braced still photography. Particularly helpful if you take macro shots. Tip: the screw-in rod can go on left or right. Depending on how you like to hold it as a chest-monopod for great stability, you can screw it into the mount on left or right. I chose it so it rests on base of my left thumb. In summary: One of the best selfie sticks you can buy. Far stronger materials and better design than the majority. Can be used as a monopod resting on belt or abdomen for greater stability of taking images. Read more

A wonderful little tripod and selfie stick from SmallRig. Itβs very compact when folded, but extends to 37.4 inches for full reach. It comes with a phone holder, but I use a MagSafe iPhone and added a magnetic mount (ASIN B0F6Y8H3F7) for even greater convenience. This is light and easy to carry. Perfect for vlogging, or just setting up to get yourself or your group in the frame. The aluminum build feels solid, and the wrist strap adds security during handheld use. Highly recommended for mobile creators and travel documentation. Read more

I like the simple design, but build quality is somewhat cheap. I expected more from SmallRig. You can feel something moving internally when moving the stick up or down rapidly and it's annoying. And the tripod is flimsy. The legs will freely open up with a slight touch. SmallRig is a clever company and should have created some kind of locking mechanism. I would be happy to pay more for quality. Read more
