No moving parts. Electronics seem to be working well. I use it in a small room to keep guitars hydrated. It replaced an old one that was hard to clean. I DO have to keep the humidity level on the unit set to 60 to maintain a humidity of 40-42% n mm o more than 5 feet away, but that’s ok if that’s what it takes. Read more

I paid for this unit, did not receive free product. It claims to humidify a large room area but I have a 150-sq-ft bedroom and even running it at full power all day and night, it barely adds 10% humidity to the room. However, it is a very good unit for a smaller room size. Pros: Very quiet. Nice design, easy to add water. No mist or white dust. Cons: only buy this for a small room. It will work very well and be quiet and easy to maintain. Vendor was helpful. Read more

Very impressive and high flow humidifier. Great for small/medium rooms. I am using it in a studio for acoustic instruments and it’s keeps the level easily between 45 and 50%. The fan at the highest settings is powerful, only negative is the built in humidity gauge, which is not accurate, so you have to rely on an external sensor still worth 5 star. Read more

Seems to be working fine. Wish it had a bit bigger water tank but that’s a minor issue. Puts out a Loy of air even on medium. Glad I found this Humidifier. Read more

I have an upstairs bedroom set aside for music, with lots of acoustic instruments that need +50% humidity to be healthy. I have a whole-house humidifier that keeps it around 40-45% all year around, but I needed a little boost for this room. This humidifier turned out to be just the ticket. After letting it run at middle speed for about an hour, the room was up to 60% within an hour. It's easy to fill, easy to clean, and simple to run. It's also silent on its low fan setting, which is where I run it. NOTE! The humidity meter on the machine is likely not going to agree well with your humidity meters elsewhere in the room. That's because (1) humidity meters are typically only +/- 3% accurate at best, but more importantly (2) the humidifer emits 100% humidity air which spreads outward throughout the room. Unless your room is completely sealed, this means that the humidity level will drop off the further you get from the humidifier. So, you'll have to adjust the humidity level on the machine to get what you want throughout the room. Not a big deal if you're aware. TIP: Some reviews say that this unit was not capable of changing the humidity much in the room. CLOSE YOUR VENTS! If your furnace/AC is running, that's going to pump air throughout the entire house ventilation system including your room if your vents are open. All the humid air from the humidifier will exit out into the rest of the house and this little humidifier won't have a chance. So close your vents, at least partially, to let the humid air build up in the room. Read more

Good humidifier does the job. Easy to use and clean every few days I just wipe it out and scrub the wick filter with a brush. If it’s running a lot you’ll fill it a few times a day. Read more
