This was the only outlet I could find that had a wireless switch as will add being able to connect to my smart devices. Little pricey but it works well. Instead of using the app they suggested I used my existing GHome app (Gosund previously) and it works great. Didn't want to add yet another smart home app on my phone too have to keep track of. I wanted a smart plug that I could control with a switch. Makes it easier for family members when you have a physical wall switch. The wall switch runs off a battery and requires no electrical skill. I used the included app to control the plug. I then linked the app to Alexa as a “skill” to have all my smart devices in one place. You can look that up. It’s easy. So you can use the manufacturers app or control the plug using Alexa. Works fine. Well made. I primarily just run a routine for turning the plug off and on. Read more

These have allowed me to set up lighting in my living room and completely control everything. They do not require Wi-Fi, which is a big plus. All you have to do is pair the switch to the plugs and you're ready to go. They work excellent and I would absolutely buy them again if I have the need. Read more

Worked for less than a year. It still pairs with my phone/app but the remote control wall switch no longer works. Very disappointing for the price! I bought 2 - one is still working for now but I needed two!! Update: The company reached out to remedy the situation, offering to replace or refund my purchase. They did not ask for an updated review, but I think it's fair to do so given their customer service. Still a bummer one of the two switches stopped working, but even good technology fails sometimes. This is really good if you have a plug in light that you’d like to use with an old fashioned light switch AND you want to use it with Alexa as well. I have just that unique need in that some family members prefer a physical switch while I prefer to use Alexa. Hence why this is perfect for me, but aside from that this is exactly what it’s advertised as, a plug that can be controlled by a switch and is Alexa compatible. Read more

I have a lamp that was previously connected to a wireless socket/switch setup similar to this one minus the wifi. I wanted to automate it so I tried a normal wifi socket with a wifi scene switch, the latency (5-10 seconds) made it unusable. I ended up spending twice what this product costs before finally deciding to try this one and it works perfectly. Physical switch with almost no delay and wifi connectivity for automation. Exactly what I wanted. If I had to nitpick, the process of removing the switch from it's wall bracket isn't very reassuring. You have to pry it out and it feels like it's gonna break after a while.
