The YoLink temperature humidity sensor, which requires their inexpensive YoSmart hub, returns accurate temperature and humidity readings which is the starting point for any home integration system (through IFTTT, in my case). It is easy, almost trivial, to set up (within minutes of opening the package). This at a price much lower than competitive systems. These guys know what they are doing. I use their sensor as a trigger in an IFTTT applet that turns my ceiling fans on and off depending on temperature and humidity. Works great; the ONLY issue is that their server response time is a bit slow so that system does not trigger immediately. They are aware of this and, based upon their previous response to my suggestions, I expect that will be fixed very soon. Their service is outstanding; they not only answered my calls and email but also updated their app based upon my suggested improvements. And that update happened within days of my suggestions! Very highly recommended. Read more

I was cautious to order because there were not many reviews, but I am SO glad that I did. I cannot recommend the yolink products highly enough. They are incredibly easy to setup, and work flawlessly. Setup: The only issue I had during setup was the wifi did not want to connect. I connected the hub via ethernet to the router and it connected without issue. Once it was connected, I simply disconnected from the ethernet and moved it to the location I wanted the hub and it stayed connected to the wifi. Range: They aren't kidding about the range on these products! Our chicken coop is over 400ft from our house, across hills/trees/brush and I have had zero issues with connection. Customer Service: I emailed customer service with a question and received an answer within the same day. Very quick, polite, and helpful. IFTTT Integration is very easy to use and works well, though I have found that I prefer the in-app automation since it there is no delay. I am using the yolink wifi plug to turn on/off a heat lamp for new chicks in the brooder based on an alert from the yolink temp/humidity sensor. If the temp gets too high, the plug turns the lamp off - if the temp gets too low, the plug turns the lamp on. It's working very well. I have had zero issues with the app and have found that it has all the functionality that I need. Read more

I have purchased 7 of these by now. They work great! The app is easy to use, the range is excellent and the screen easy to see from a distance. Battery life is good, it’s been 5 months and I have not needed to change them yet. I love being able to view the temps on several freezers and refrigerators all on one screen and it will alarm you, if temps are out of range. Great product and a value for the low price. Read more

I use these temperature / humidity sensors in various locations of interest, such as certain rooms that don't cool as well, or my attached garage. They track the temperature and humidity at 1 hour intervals, which is enough to have a good idea of how the temperatures range in those rooms, but not super fine-grained as I might like for a sensor such as this. Due to this, it loses a star. There is a more expensive version of this unit (the "X3") that does more frequent samples, but it costs quite a bit more. I think both units need to be bumped down in price. Regardless, I do still love the long range/stable connection of the LoRa tech; these sensors are super reliable. And I like the built-in screens so I can see the current data without always having to open the app if I'm already in the room with them. I will plug, as I do in all my YoLink reviews, that I anxiously hope that one day (preferably one day soon) YoLink will come up with support for local-only connectivity so my sensors don't require a functioning Internet connection to work, but until then, I still prefer these to most other sensors I've tried in the past due to their great range and consistent reliability. All in all, I really like these sensors. However, I think a more reasonable price would be in the $30-$35 range. $50 msrp / $40 sale price is a little steep for these IMHO. Read more

Constantly exceeding my expectations. I own a lot of Yolink hardware and am deep into Home Automation with Home Assistant. All work seamlessly. After using a lot of the devices for a long time, I had one failure. The App on my phone let me know there was an issue. Therefore, the system (includes all of the components) are monitored for health. A rare and complete level of Systems Engineering. On the one failure, I emailed Yolink with the results of the very simple and straight forward troubleshooting. Boom. They were sending me a replacement in minutes. Absolutely outstanding. I have not seen a company at this level in a while. It brings tears of joy to my eyes to find a company like this one. I can only hope that other companies take notes and follow this outstanding example. Read more

This thermometer has been a game-changer! After recently dealing with a frozen pipe, I placed it in my wall near the pipes, and now I can monitor the temperature from my phone without crawling into the crawlspace. The LoRa connection works flawlessly, even in hard-to-reach areas, and I love that it doesn’t rely on WiFi. The alerts give me peace of mind, and setup was simple. Highly recommend for anyone needing reliable remote temperature monitoring! Read more
