I have other Yolink devices and the YoLink hub but I got this smart fob to trigger Alexa routines involving devices not related to YoLink. If you have a routine that you want to play by pressing a button, this works perfectly! My only issue with YoLink is that only one home can connect with Alexa so if you have more than one home you either have to put all the devices in one home or live with not being able to automate the other home with Alexa. This is a game changer when using Alexa and Alexa enabled products. Yes you can voice control everything, but how often do you have to repeat the words(Maybe it’s just me)? Using the App is great but can take some time. The other “remotes” I have tried or looked into are very expensive and limited. This remote gives you 4 Presets, that you can do almost anything with. Setting up YoLink hub and remote where cake. Maybe 2-3min, then programming done with Alexa. I look forward to exploring more YoLink products! Read more

Very nice wireless remote fob made by Yolink. It controls Yolink products and also can trigger scenes with Alexa or Google. I have 4 of these fobs and have had no problem with them. I control lights, trigger other automation devices or scenes and control garage doors. They are durable and reliable. They are very functional. The buttons can be short pressed or long pressed to essentially give you 8 buttons. Unfortunately, Alexa does not support the long press. However, it does work within the Yolink app. They connect to the app quickly and have long battery life. Value is decent. Read more

I'm a big fan of Yolink products, but I simply don't understand what this product is supposed to do. I bought it to toggle a Yolink alarm system armed/disarmed, but I couldn't seem to do that with this product. After puzzling through trying to figure it out, then actually contacting tech support for clarification, it seems this "Alarm Fob" won't arm/disarm their alarm system. Huh? At tech support's recommendation, (Yolink tech support is actually super helpful), I returned this for their "FlexFob" instead, which did exactly what I needed it to do, plus open and close my garage as well. Quite frankly, I don't know what the heck this four-button "alarm fob" is supposed to do apart from trigger a siren. It's made to the same high quality as other Yolink products, it connected to the hub and Alexa easily, but it doesn't seem to do the basic thing an "alarm fob" should. So good luck with it! This Yo-Link smart fob is amazing, this can be programmed to control pretty much any smart home device that is compatible with Alexa. There is no lag between pressing the button and the respond from the device. Its long range fob to control devices from far distances across the house. I would certainly give this gadget a solid 5 star. Read more

I keep one of these in my car so I can turn on yard lights when I arrive home at night. Two different sets of yard lights are controlled. A third buttons is set to open my garage door (using a Yolink garage door adapter). Read more
