Excellent for use while skiing!
FIRST..... strongly recommend washing this before first use to wash out the factory smell. That being said..... despite this feeling thin, it truly traps in warmth! It thoroughly keeps your body heat in! Kept my face and head warm with my ski helmet. Definitely worth buying! Read more
Most comfortable ski mask
I've ordered a lot of ski masks but they are always so uncomfortable. This mask feels great. It is a little thin so if you're looking for ultimate warmth maybe go with carhartt. I would buy this again
I wanted something besides a poly balaclava and this does the trick. Used it all winter for snow removal and dog walking. Soft and comfortable against the face and neck. Looks pretty cool, too. Read more
Worked just fine
I was not expecting how thin this balaclava was. It only has one layer, so if you have whipping winds (which I had this weekend Snowboarding) you will find your face a bit cold. On top of that, as I was breathing through the fabric all day, it held a bit of moisture and would end up becoming completely frozen solid as I was going down the mountain. When the balaclava was wet, I kept getting strands of fabric in my mouth that I kept having to get out of my mouth. On top of that, the top part of the balaclava (the part that goes over your hair) was very loose when I did not have my helmet on. I am not sure if I received a defective or stretched product but when the package came in the mail, the packaging was ripped in places. Overall, I will say, I do prefer a balaclava over my old neck gaiter but I wish it would have been a bit warmer and snug to my face. Read more
