We wanted a small doormat for our slippery ceramic tiled balcony here in South Florida. While the area is covered it does get a bit of rain when there is wind or when the rain is long lasting and because of slant rainwater drains towards the sliding glass doors. Puddles on other parts of the balcony occasionally wet our feet and we did not like tracking that in on our travertine marble floors where we always left footprints. It seems to hold its place on our slippery surface. We did not need a heavy duty one. This small sized semi-circle rug was the perfect answer. Although green was my first choice of color, it was not available in this shape & size, so the blue was fine since most of my plant pots nearby are also blue. It arrived rolled. We rerolled it in the opposite direction as recommended and most of the roll came out. There was a bit on one side that would just not unroll immediately. We laid it out and put a rock on it overnight. The next day it was flat. It was thinner that other heavy-duty mats we have owned before, but they were for entrances where there was much more exposure to the weather with wide doors & cold snowy winters.
