Great shades

These are some of my favorite sunglasses I’ve ever owned. The lenses are nicely polarized to cut down on glare. They’re extremely comfortable and I think they look great. Read more

Great sight fishing glasses

I have the copper bronze mirror lenses in the gray guides choice frames and the base camp frames and they are by far my favorite glasses. They filter sunlight extremely well without “shading”. Everything is still bright and colors pop better then normal vision. I also have a pair of guides choice in the blue green lenses but to me they make things appear darker compared to the copper bronze which filter light while brightening. Both are great for taking glare off the water for sight fishing here in the Chesapeake bay. Our water is typically an emerald green color. The copper bronze take the cake for this but that could be different off shore in the blue water. The frames are light and stay on your face well haven’t had any nose slip even on hot days.only complaint is the price. At 200+ Dollars I would t call it a value but if you want to splurge and not regret it these will accomplish that. Smiths are my go to. Read more

SMITH Guide's Choice Really Is The Clear Choice

These glasses are everything I hoped for. After years of another brand's failures and subsequent warranty changes, it was time to find a new brand. The quality, clarity, and fit are superb. And the price point is perfect. I am excited for the next time I am on the water with them. Read more

Great glasses

It's hard to find decent pair bifocal polarized sunglasses. I really like the way they wrap around my face. Blocks the sun from the side great with out feeling like a pair of goggles. The view through them is very clear and I can tell the polarized lenses are good quality. I did notice the reader part is a bit small. It's fine for driving and normal wear. But if you are intending to sit by the pool and read a book the lens might be a little too small and lower than others. They are a bit pricy but are still a nice pair of sunglasses. Read more

Not as good a design (IMO) as the earlier Chiefs model that I had.

These are great sunglasses, especially on sale. However, the spring loaded temples make them hard to securely wear on a ball cap brim without the risk of them sliding off. Regardless, they are excellent lenses. However, the copper polarchromic tint on the Guides is rather different from my 2014 era Chiefs. A different tint and not quite as dark. I also have some their brown polarized lens sunglasses and prefer the brown tint to the new copper tint. Read more

Great for the boat

Lenses are great, and the wide arms block out glare and the sun. Best sunglasses for the Florida sun I’ve found. And I’ve tried a lot! Read more

Great Glasses for Kayak Fishing/ Fishing in General

Size: I have a BIG Head, theses glasses run large and are a great fit. The flex hinges for the arms give a nice comfortable fit, not being too tight at all. They are Very light weight. They come with an eye glass tether/ keeper lanyard, so don't purchase a separate on. Go on to YouTube to see how to attach it. The directions that come with them are useless. Stayed on the water several hours in them kayak fishing, with no eyestrain from glare. I'll have to update on durability of lenses in a few weeks. These Replaced Oakley Spilt Shots That I really like, but they scratch too easily. Replacement lenses for Oakley's almost cost as much as this new pair of Smith's! Been fishing Hard in these since March of this year, no issues ,NO Scratches!!! Read more
