I'm a ghostwriter for a living, so I spend A LOT of time at my desk (taking breaks in between). I also have back issues, which create a huge mess for me later in the afternoon as my sciatica runs down my right leg into the bottom of my foot and is very painful. I don't want to take pain medication 24/7, so I looked at how I was sitting at my desk to improve my posture and footing. I'm average height (5'6" and 150 pounds) and I use a Herman Miller chair, which is high quality. I noticed that my feet were not flat under the desk, so I purchased this foot rest, and wow! Am I glad I did! I like the three ways you can use the massage, although I only use the third setting, the heat also has levels, and this keeps my feet super toasty during the winter! It's soft enough to feel comfortable but also gives great support. This definitely helps reduce my back pain! And I love that my feel feel great too! Such a good value for the money, I would highly recommend this for anyone who sits at a desk. Read more

The best way to describe this footrest is "comfy." The foam is somehow both firm enough to feel substantial, yet soft enough to feel inviting and gentle. My feet sink into the foam just slightly, enough to soak up the heat and feel the gentle vibrations. I understand that this sort of massager is designed for under one's desk at work. Since I wear lace-up shoes, it isn't practical for me to take them off multiple times throughout the day. I'm always getting up from my desk and walking around. So I have been using this footrest at the recliner at day's end. I have another more serious foot massager (also a Snailax) and I love using that for more intense and focused massaging when my feet are really worn out. This footrest is gentler. It has a lovely amount of heat that doesn't roast my toes, instead warming them slowly and thoroughly. And the massage function really helps the heat relax my feet. It slowly and rather gently warms away fatigue and pain. I was initially surprised at the design, as the optional riser that lifts the footrest up higher (should you wish it to be higher) is also made of foam. But in usage it works just as designed and maintains its lightweight form factor while also having enough grip to keep from moving around on the luxury vinyl tile in my sitting room. Though I don't always feel the need for a more aggressive massage (like I get from my foot massager), when I return home I look forward to kicking off my shoes and resting my feet on this very comfy footrest that welcomes me back and tells me to rest a bit. 9/30/25 Edit: Experiencing heating issues where it doesn't heat up consistently. Submitted technical support ticket to Snailax itself. Seems like might be fire hazard if continuing to try & use the inconsistent heat option. Massager still works like a charm. Even without those 2 features, the footrest itself gives you that "tingly cool feeling running down your spine" & I love it. Prior to 9/30/25 review: This was after having used for several hours working from home: Heats up pretty quick, has a high & low temp settings that run 1 hr at a time. The massager is interesting, has 3 different massager settings. Varying in intensity / pattern. Each set to a 15 min cycle. I found 3 to be the best, as its the most constant pattern wise. (Think like long/skate boarding vibration) Not very noisy by itself tho I do live in apt. So may selectively use it pending on time of day. Super light weight (1.4 lb), feels like its weightless tbh. the fabric is very soft, non slip & washable via wet wipe. In general its ergonomic, almost an instant relief just resting your feet on it. height is somewhat adjustable. (1-2 inch detachable Velcro base). Will do some more testing tho this just initially in first like 15 min of use. All in all, for $47 it's not bad. Something that seems very reliable with some modern conveniences in terms of functional services, maintenance (cleaning) & instant relief / supports proper posture. (used a gift card from work to buy & honestly don't regret it. Will update review after more long term use) Read more

Great quality foot rest for the home office. Fits neatly underneath the desk. Vibration with low heat makes for a comfortable working environment. Easily tap the controls with my toe to change heat and vibration. Ordered this lightweight foot rest with 2 day delivery. A must have for the 'at home' office workers. Quite warming and comfortable sensations on cool days in the office. I use it daily. Convenient velcro keeps the 2 halves together and the non-slip bottom works perfectly on luxury vinyl flooring. I only ever try to leave positive reviews, but this foot rest was really disappointing. It's comfy, I'll give it that. I purchased it in November 2024 and now, almost a whole year later, in November 2025, it no longer heats up. It stopped working some time ago, but I don't remember exactly when. I barely ever used it, maybe like once or twice every other week for about an hour each time. So disappointing, I am still within the one year warranty period, but am unsure if I will be able to get it replaced. Stay away from this product. I'd suggest buying something that will cost more but hopefully last longer than this. Read more

Amazing product at first: I’m short and needed a footrest for my desk and this was a great option. Heated up to a nice hot temperature too. However, months later I’ve got to comment on the durability of this thing. Only one side heats up now, and not as well as before. Kind of awful if you don’t want a single foot to be warm and one to be frigid. Lightweight, grips the carpet surprisingly well, and overall nice to have. But it really shouldn’t be losing function this quickly after purchase. Maybe consider a pricier product that’ll get you more reliability. Read more
