Don’t be intimidated by the amount of parts. It’s actually quite easy to put together and quite strong once it’s assembled. I was impressed by the quality of the various pieces. They all fit perfectly. It’s very light weight, but strong enough to hold your shoes. The most difficult part, or annoying part of assembly, was getting the “shelves” on the sides. This is a great shoe rack! I wear a men’s size 13, almost all shoe racks don’t work for me. This work great! It would work for smaller shoes as well, truly a universal shoe rack. You can build 2 smaller racks rather than one taller one, that’s what I did. There is another similar product on Amazon for just around 12 dollars - dont buy that one! These are awesome shoe racks. I have 4 of them in my walk in closet. One of them for jeans and the others for shoes. They're great because they are tall and narrow.
